Hi, I am arranging a Surrey Pub Social on Friday 19th Sept :-

Will be held in a location local to me, close to the station, also has a Bed & Breakfast if you need to stay over.

This event is open to all singles and couples, if this is the thing for you, or like to come along too, Please put your name down or message me.

Wasn't in the best of moods, pub was fairly quiet apart from two reasonably large groups (one on each side) really couldn't be arsed to play went meeny so I had my drink and left. Tbh I would not have been good company following the shitty day I had which continued into the night. Much better for all that I didn't say hi. No point in leaving a bad image. Apologies to Zena, I will say hi next time

but in all honesty I was waiting on someone who was a complete let down and didn't show at all, so, same as the other guy I wouldn't have been very social, crappy day then let down by someone who was texting me right up till 9 o'clock saying they were coming

According to you I'm one of the 'twats'. I made the effort and attended however what I found was far from what I was expecting.

I'm a single guy looking for couples and possibly single females. There weren't any couples at all there and only you and one other female. However surrounding you in the bar were ten.... yes .. TEN single guys. No offence but I didn't go along to meet you or any single guys. So rather than being the proverbial spare prick. I went home.

I then sent you a message apologising for not introducing myself.

For all this I get called a twat! Well I'm sorry I thought it was the sensible thing to do in the circumstances. I thank you for your efforts but it really didn't work did it?

another TWAT here !!! It's very hard to disagree with this comment, it was my first social and was nervous, no effort at all was made by the host to integrate people, so I had a few beers and went to abfabs !! Not quite what I expected from a social, but you live and learn !!
