I still frequent the Dublin Castle from time to time. Best place for a "night that takes on a life of its own"

I went a couple of years back and ended up at "the horn"

It's very pricey there, some nice bikes though

I like the atmosphere as you not only get Bikers but every walk of life in there which really makes a good night normally. I have yet to actually ride up there but do intend to at some point this year. Let me know if you fancy a social in there.

Reading

For food I like the Edgware road Arab restaurants, there's a good Turkish restaurant in wood green somewhere.

In terms of Pakistani (curry) food, I love the Royal Nawaab in perivale, there's also a good one in Hendon called Aladdin.

To be fair there are several good Turkish restaurants in Wood Green. We are spoilt for choice round here

Dishoom for Indian food that is consistent in taste and quality

Southbank for walks along the Thames

Hammersmith to Richmond for a long walk along the Thames and good choice of bars and restaurants at either end .

Soho for a varied restaurant ( Palomar , Paradise , Barbary , Kiln , Duck & Rice , Fat Punditt) and bar offering (Be at One bar for happy hour cocktails and pop and rock anthems and the Bar Americain for a classy atmosphere )

Brewdog bar in Waterloo for its size and atmosphere

Marylebone High Street for independent shops and a genteel atmosphere
