I was young and almost half as desperate as the locals when I used to go there. Certainly wouldn't bother now. There used to be an old boy there every time I went who might even have been in the age group I'm in now. Don't know if he had to use the station stairs. Perhaps he lived in Rios, it certainly looked like so! | |||

This however was by far the best night because it lacked all the annoying single guys. Unfortunately the owners went for slight increase in short term profits and many women and couples now vowing never too return (and subsequently men finding it a sausage fest) | |||

" Usually people who have been banned from Kestrels write positive reviews about this place in order to try to slate Kestrels. Rios is more their sort of place though I guess. | |||

I guess I am in the minority as I have not been banned from Kestrels but I attend Rios with my friend and leave positive reviews for Rios based on my experience on the day / night that I attend. I have only ever attended Kestrels once in 2018 or 2019 when there was still work been done but still enjoyed a relaxing afternoon.I think the fact that Kestrels , AbFabs , Ignite hosts a well attended social every couple of months tells me it’s doing something right. | |||

I was there last night with my friend.From the outside it looks exactly as it did in the 1990’s when I use to drive past it.Inside the facilities are fairly basic but me and my friend find it ok to chill out.The private rooms are not the most appealing but they do the job. | |||

I always believe the best thing to do about Rios is to ignore the mixed reviews and try it out for yourself.For what it’s worth if you go as a single lady be prepared to be followed around a lot.Also there maybe some accidental touching of the legs if in the jacuzzi.Whether it’s accidental is open to debate.As long as you are firm you will be fine.If you have a male friend it maybe best you go together.It may reduce the following around and the touching of the legs in the jacuzzi. | |||
