Hi I start again.looking at London for a weekend in november, which are the best areas to stay, i don't mind staying out abit aslong as it got good direct travel into the centre

I would suggest kingscross, Islington, bank, London Bridge areas, very easy access to Central London, few clubs near by too

If your only there a weekend just goole hotels central london and look for best price...no point having to jump on the tube everytime you wanna go back to ya accommodation..

Personally I'd recommend staying east rather than west if you're looking for something with decent pricing and quick access into London.

Stratford has great links and some decent hotels for the price.

If you're happier closer to the centre then I like kings cross, Liverpool Street, london bridge/Southwark areas. But you can't really go wrong.

I would agree, tower bridge area I think is a great night out alone let alone the easy train links around the rest of the city
