Looking for some guidance. I travel to London for work and miss my mid week runs. Back down mid September and hotel is close to London Bridge.

Any recommended areas/routes for some morning miles?

If you're OK on pavements then from there I'd make a circuit by following along the Thames into town on one side, crossing whatever bridge makes the right distance and then going back along the other side. You can't go right next to the river the whole way, but pretty close and in places it's quite nice.

NB That's a literal jogging suggestion; not a dogging one.

Thanks for that. That was my initial thoughts but wasn’t sure on paths or routes that stay riverside without having to navigate across busy roads and therefore stop start

Not many roads direct large streams of traffic into the water. So most crossing is where the bridges are. Although much of that is avoidable if you are OK with underpasses. Look up the Thames Path xx

I would run on the south side of the river if you are in London Bridge and west wards…

If you can do longer distances you might like to cross pedestrian golden jubilee bridges and go toward green park

Brilliant thanks. Is the path better south side of river?

Was planning on doing 5 or 6 by going west from Tower of London as start/finish

I used to work near Tower Bridge, a lunchtime run riverside towards Canary Wharf and back was good. Not too busy and away from roads.

Dm if you want more details.

Definitely stay south of the river - going east from London Bridge you can run without crowds to Surrey Quays then cross into Southwark Park add a loop of that then back the way you came and you’ll top out around the 6 mark.
