Especially if you request a place late, receive the venue details and then do not show with no word privately to George or on this thread. Not only is that dickish and inconsiderate, it’s also incredibly unsafe for all the attendees
As I’m sure you’re aware Grumps my comments were not aimed at you as you (and others) had communicated to George privately or in this thread that you’d no longer be able to make it which is common courtesy and much appreciated | |||

"Just chiming in to say I think this is a brilliant idea for a social. Bit tricky for us due to childcare, but we'll definitely try and move things around to attend one in the future if you continue!" Thanks and agree. Logistics of childcare can be a challenge. The social will be back at some time, just difficult to find that time | |||
