I’d like to attend a small party. Not too many people. With my fwb or solo. It’s on my bucket list for 2024. Is there such a thing? Where it’s about 10 people ?

You might get 10 offers but plenty of messers that wont turn up tho seems to be the norm going on a few others comments on other forum threads. Shame really as there are genuine solo and couples out there.

We’ve always fancied the idea of a dinner party scenario. We are planning to try Dinner and Decadence in Chelsea.

The practical problem with small parties is that obviously there isn't a lot of choice.

A party of people that you already know is more likely to be a success. Otherwise you're hugely dependent on the skills of the organisers to choose compatible people.

Yeah I guess better to rent an Airbnb or hotel room to end after a night out in town

I’ve been to a few parties at hotel or houses. Always good fun

If the ratio is split always happy to host a shindig with people who like a conversation and fun if course.

As what was said by other posters, you will be inundated with count me in messages to your in box. To get anywhere near your required amount to turn up, you will have to invite at least 10 times the number you actually want. I know through experience, as I used to arrange and host such get togethers when I had my own place a few years ago, under a different username (robbobean).

Don't let that put you off though, go for it, and tick off that bucket list. Best of luck, Seamus xx
