Where are you?

I'm looking for a platonic rope play mate to tie up and be tied by, and learn and improve rope skills together.

I want to focus on the rope and the energy exchange without the distractions of sexual energy or sex-power dynamics in the room, there would be absolutely no sex in the dynamic or other kinks.

A simple and fun skill exchange and hopefully forming a friendship in time.

Is this something that would interest any men?

It is very much of interest, I guess the problem may be peoples lack of experience. I would be very keen to learn how to perform rope play properly and having someone to learn with and practice with from both sides of the experience would be ideal. So there's definately people out there that would be up for this just depends on the level of experience you're looking for.

I have a bit of experience but certainly not enough to teach anyone. The idea would be to learn together, attend workshops and rope jams, as well as private practice. Someone with zero experience probably isn't actually that interested in bondage or rope for ropes sake. In my mind they would at least be self-tying already, or have some experience of bondage in other forms. There are many ways to learn if you have a genuine interest in the kink.

The main difficulty I have in finding a partner is the non-sexual element and keeping to pure rope play with no other kinks - as stated.

In my DM's the responses to this post most are either immediately sexualising it or adding on their fantasies. I've been asked if I'll pee in one guys mouth once I've tied him up... Others have come in hot and horny attaching and dick pics.

I'm not surprised, because it's the same sample of men I experience more widely on this site who run around projecting their own fantasies on others and then getting upset no one wants to play. But in replying to a post or status that is specifically talking about non-sexual play it is disappointing.

This is something that we're both into. We've had a shibari lesson and we're by no means experts but are looking to gain experience.
