You do sometimes see playing in the steam rooms or hot tubs though if staff spot you they'll tell you to take it to the back rooms. They won't kick you out. | |||

"I went Saturday afternoon with a lady. In the jacuzzi, this young man abused my friend pushing his foot into her vagina. After leaving, he followed us into the steam room and had the temerity to offer to massage her with baby oil. I should have been more assertive and reported him for sexual assault. I will be bringing any woman ever again to Rios. This is utterly unacceptable behaviour in a public place and it's not surprising women are reluctant to come here. "This is the problem - too many men who can’t behave - I was there last sat night with a friend and of course as it was in the evening there was not such problems ( apart from one lunatic who came into our room and assumed my partner wanted a naked four hand massage - naturally she didn’t especially with him - but if he had any manners , personality and charm he may have stood a chance !!! ) Rios has a big problem between profiteering from letting any Tom Dick and Harry in ( Even if they were born in the Middle East ! ) and getting a good crowd who would spread the word,especially on this site, which would encouraged more of an evenly split M\F costumer like the old days . Never will it be anyway close to 50:50 but a friendly non pushy approach often produces desirable open minded sexy women who want as much fun as the men - sadly this sector is rare for the reasons specified above . "Rios in the 80s and 90s not much better. I can remember sitting at a table opposite the two Jacuzzis which had a couple of men in them. They were staring at my then partner who incidentally was wearing a bikini. Everything we moved they followed. At one point back at the table I stood up as if to go elsewhere and they stood up in the jacuzzi. So I sat down again and so did they. It really put her off going again. Went back years later and they had a bouncer on the door. Says it all really. " . The last time I went to Rios with a friend there was a security guard at the door who checked our bags.When I was leaving I asked why there was a security guard as I had never seen one there before.The man who I spoke to said that they always have one on Friday & Saturday nights and also check bags as whilst it is ok to take wine , beer , cider you can’t take any spirits. | |||

"Rios has so much going for it: practically next to the tube, free parking everywhere, great facilities, but it's let down by poor management. It used to be the place to go but the guy who runs it is resentful of others' fun and you're always made to feel as if you're doing something wrong. It's had its day and is now to be avoided." If you have time do a forum search on Naked Hands Spa N22 and you will see the thread that I started back in 2019.See below what I thought of Naked Hands Spa back in 13/03/2019. I use to go when it was called Elixir about 12 - 15 years ago and tonight ( 13 /03/19 ) I thought I would take a trip down memory lane.As I said I would from a thread called Spa.It is open Tuesday to Saturday 12.00 pm to 10.00 pm to use the facilities it’s £20 for singles & £20 for couples plus £10 for a locker and towel refundable when you return the towel.Check there website for details as they do various massages and you may have to call to book a more specialist massage.It was pretty much as I remembered it all those years ago.A small seating area with sky sports on.One small sauna which maybe fits 5-6 people a hot tub which if you press a button becomes a jacuzzi fits 2 people lying down or 4-5 in seated positions the steam room was looked as it was not working and two showers one a bucket shower and two treatment rooms for the massages.There was a young black lady mid 30’s who showed me around and a older white lady mid 50’s who was doing the massages both seemed friendly enough.There was 2 older guys in their mid 60’s and a guy who was similar age to me early 50’s.The guy similar age to me was going for a massage with the older white lady I sat in the sauna with the young black lady and the two older guys one of the guys said he liked coming here as it was more respectable than Rios and the young lady agreed with him both mentioned bad experiences at Rios.I was later offered a 30 minutes massage for £15 which is not on the website but is on a notice board by the older lady.It was a good basic massage and the lady was friendly enough and made conversation at no stage was a happy ending discussed and she kept her dress on when doing the massage.If you are looking to go hoping for some adult fun I don’t think this is the place for you as there are no private / rest rooms like Rios.However If you are just wanting to use the facilities and maybe a massage then it does the job.Just like it did 12 - 15 years ago when it was called Elixir.The young black girl did say it was quiet tonight perhaps because Liverpool were playing in the Champions League." . It’s open Tuesday to Sunday 12.00 pm to 10.00 pm and the steam room was locked as was not working. | |||
