There aren’t many daytime events in London aimed exclusively for the LGBTQ+ community so we are starting one at The Central Station Bar in Kings Cross. The idea is to have a reasonably priced admission cost and make it an event that folks could attend as an alternative to going to a sauna or arranging their own group meet. There are lots of evening and weekend events so this new venture would be aimed at people who due to family and/or other commitments find late night and weekend get togethers hard to attend.

The event is being called “Daytime Liaisons” and will be held every Thursday from 1pm to 7pm at The Central Station Bar in Kings Cross. It is not a T Girl party, nor is it a Bi party nor is it a Gay party, it is though a play party aimed at all those groups and anyone else from the LGBTQ+ community who would like to attend. Though it will be open to all I’m guessing the main attendees will be men but everyone is welcome.

We are setting the admission fee at £12 per person which we hope will be enough to cover the venue hire, the cost of door and cloakroom staff and marketing expenses. We want to keep the entry charge low enough so that as well as folks turning up to meet new people it can be an alternative to getting a hotel for hook up meets .

It is a new venture so please let us have any thoughts or suggestions please message us as changes can still be made if it will help establish the event.

Well done for taking the time and effort to put on an event that’s inclusive of all. Much too often things like this cease to be and seldom anything takes its place. The venue itself central station needs all the help it can get so it seems a win win.

Sweet Wednesdays is a T Girl event. The only people who attend it will only be T Girls and their admirers. Some of those admirers will identify themselves as straight so won't want to attend Daytime Liaisons. There are also many bi and gay men who wouldn't attend a T Girl party who will want to attend an event were there was more male with male play.

Daytime Liaisons is a sex party so there will be overlap with many other sex parties that get held in various venues. The things that makes it different is that it is an inclusive event for all LGBTQ+ folks and it is a daytime event.

A similar answer applies. For the Bi Fun Club you have to be Bi. Straight and gay orientations are not welcome. For daytime Liaisons Gay men are very welcome.
