Chams or Socials

Hi, we’re in London for 4 nights next week. We have the theatre booked for 1 evening & a possible small social on another.

We’re looking for things to do - day or night - that aren’t your normal touristy things. Such as go to Electric Avenue in Brixton, Strawberry Moons on Heddon Street for Ziggy Stardust.

What can you lovely locals suggest?

Thanks in advance

A visit to Rios Spa isn’t really completing the ‘must do things’ for a swinger IMO.

How about a Jack the Ripper evening walking tour in the East end? You and a group of around 6-12 get walked through the streets by a tour guide and hear / see about his crimes. I’ve done it and it’s great fun. Think it only lasts about an hour or 1.5hrs which means it doesn’t take up the whole night.

Tower Bridge South

Try a site called Ian Visits - I can't post a link. Full of up to date unusual things to see, free and low cost exhibitions, museums etc.

For something a bit naughtier there are places with rude names to take pics in. Your starter for 10 is Cock Lane 30 seconds away from Smithfield.

If you fancy music related spots then maybe visit for a meal The Good Mixer pub in Camden. Where Oasis, Blur and Amy Winehouse supposedly used to hang out. And a walk down the canal for something romantic to do. And wave to the punks on the bridge. As they say they are still alive

If you make it to Brixton, head to 'Brixton Village' too - it's a covered market with lots of little shops and restaurants. Loads of different cuisines. Strawberry Moons is a bit of cheesy to be honest, but I didn't know the Ziggy reference.

Book tickets for the sky garden. It’s free and great way to see London.
