Sutton

Recently got into star gazing around many of the car parks just south east of the M25. We saw some very interesting sights last night.

Although we are enjoying the sites, we wondered when this activity was most popular. And also how to approach other star gazers. We have been going around 11-12 at night.

I also wonder when star gazing was most popular especially near J9 of the M25. In fact I’ve been hoping to find some other star gazers to meet up with.

Dartford

The DVP (Dartford Crossing View Point) used to be the go-to spot to look at the Mons Veneris and Andrew's Wood car park close to the A21 / M25 junction occasionally hosted viewers hoping to see Venus and Mars in conjunction.

Both blocked off now....

same with a few other places just south of the m25. We pulled up to one place a few weeks ago during the night, closed gate, two police cars and a couple of police dogs. Left very quickly

Different car park last night. Turn up, walk around, enjoy watching two young couples having fun.

Walk around to some other cars, spot two police cars next to each other about 50m away first two couples. They didn't interfere at all? Still a bit spooked though.

They were probably enjoying watching too?

Hey - PM me. We know a couple of places in Surrey and have been known to play al fresco.
