The woman behind the desk didn’t need to say there aren’t many women just a simple yes or no would have done.You didn’t need to be made to feel uncomfortable and feeling vulnerable.I hope this unpleasant experience doesn’t put you off. | |||

There are better, classier places to splash my cash." "That’s shit. Sorry you had that experience, OP. This story even puts me off. I’m a guy. I’d love to “get the most” from a visit but I have no expectations whenever I go there other than to enjoy the facilities. Even I don’t want to be in a space that’s using women as bait and luring men in for the £££s. What a shitty business model, and a shitty attitude. It holds back everyone from having a good time."  It was the inference 'women with men are out of bounds, but single women are fair game', and lo and behold there's lil old me right behind him! Poor behaviour by predatory single guys is one thing but when a member of the staff is almost complicit in women being used as bait in a meat market, that's just utterly terrible. If I took over that place the staff member in question would be gone and I'd add a compulsory membership (nominal annual fee) as soon as I could. Any bad behaviour would see the guilty party having to leave with their membership discontinued. No membership, no entry. Might take a short term hit, but I'd hope many would return." "Really I can't believe what iam reading all places have asshole men the staff are not rude to me if I have trouble they deal with it stop running a place down if u haven't been make up ur own minds instead of listening to other ppl " I'm glad to hear the staff are not rude to you, but some of them can be rude to others, which still makes them rude overall. I used to find that one or two were consistently nice, but many of the others were either downright rude and/or had fairly appalling customer service skills with no reason generated from me whatsoever. There were even times on bad days when I was hesitant to ask for some water!! Admittedly that was all pre-pandemic, but it doesn't sound like much has changed. As far as 'stop running the place down if you haven't been' goes, the vast majority of comments, including my own, are experiences and observations from having been. In my case on numerous occasions on many different days or the week and times of the day over several years. Sure most places have 'asshole' men (and even the occasional 'asshole' women/couple), but with Rios I find it's more about the high proportion and extent of that compared with other places. The one thing I do agree with you on is that anyone thinking of going should go and make their own mind up, but go with open eyes and be forewarned of what the place can be like and, by the sounds of it, still often is. | |||

"Once a man kissed me in the hot tub. A male member of staff yelled at me in full hearing of all around "Go to the back room if you want to do that sort of thing". I said we were only kissing. He said "Yes it's what you're doing under the water I'm concerned about". Me and said man were sitting side by side. But Rios has an identity crisis: is it a swingers club or a naturist spa? We all go slinking furtively to the back rooms, trying to avoid the security guard, and feeling guilty like children for doing what comes naturally. I prefer going to a club where enjoying the pleasure of other people isn't something you have to do in such a clandestine way as you do in Rios. | |||

Yes that is correct. But I says "guy" in the description of my profile. It was a profile I shared with a partner about 8 years ago. I havnt b3en on here since until recent. We had made a lot of friends on here and I've come back to get back in touch with them using this profile. I've not claimed to be a couple to make out it says guy in the profile just incase anyone goes onto it. What's wrong with attending rios alone? I said I'd be alone when I posted?

I'm afraid your massively wrong, if you go onto the profile you'll see 2 verifications from when me and my ex used to cam stating they were verified 9 years ago (it's ok I can wait for an apology) I honestly don't know why it says a year old as I have only been back on here recently hence updating my status I think 3 days ago saying I'm back and will be updating my profile. I'm not here to "hoodwinkle" anyone and I've made it crystal clear in the description of my profile and when writing here that I am on my own.

They do this to me when I'm in the sauna.I did ask why and was told because people tend to spend more than the recommended 15 minutes in the sauna, it can have an effect, such as fainting or even far worse. Generally they will leave you alone but they are very alert when it comes to health and safety. They have had a couple of fires due to customer's stupidity. This could have become serious incidents if they were not vigilant. They will keep constant vigilance on people on the property, and I am comforted by that. Personally, I have found the staff to be extremely polite and friendly. I go there as a single woman to use the sauna facilities only. There have been occasions when I have been with others to have fun. Please do not let them deter you from going in. Either they don't want to spend the money on the recently increased entrance fee for a single bloke, or they needed to stay in Rio's longer if it was couples evening. Either way, since the price increases Rios has become very mellow and great place to while away the hours. Sorry that you had a bad experience, but I hope you give it one more shot. As a single woman, I can say I feel very comfortable going to Rio's, whatever the purpose of my visit. Cx | |||

Message me I go once twice a month and I go with a ladie friend as she won't go alone and she likes to attend in the evening. It is a decent establishment too Be honest. But the desperation of men is a thick stench. " It depends how you handle it, and I say that for any club establishment. Simply tell them that you have no sexual interest in them whatsoever. They will move on. The older I get the more I believe that I shouldn't waste people's time, and I say this when I tell them. Generally I get a shrug, and the conversation changes (sometimes to an enjoyable debate!) I've done it in Rio's. The word tends to get around pretty fast and you won't get chased after that. You're free to make your choice to play and if you do then obviously it will depend if the person you want to play with says yes as well! Simples. | |||
