I know it wasn't everyone's cup of tea but I really miss the place

It was great for newbies the staff were friendly, & oh the hottubs if you exclude the incident where one guy grabbed my ankle to try & prevent me from getting out, I miss the hottubs

We never made it on a Friday/Saturday but we loved Thursday & Sundays with the occasional Tuesday & Wednesday (yes I didn't even mind the Wednesdays) thrown into the mix

Why not try Rios in Kentish town? On Saturday, its couple only night and as it goes, I will be taking my sub FWB with me this Saturday.

We've been to Rio's on a Saturday night I wasn't a fan to be honest

I liked the venue & facilities but it was a really weird dynamic on the Saturday night we went, old guys wandering around wanking while there partners where laid on the loungers readings books & magazines

& as the evening progressed it was full of twenty somethings mostly in swimsuits acting like they were in a beach club

Only really saw one group playing but it was obvious they all knew one another and it was prearranged

That said I know it's not a swingers club & I would go back but probably not on a Saturday night

We mostly went on quiet nights so never experienced that there, but from my experience most venues have cliques on their busy nights which is why I try and avoid Friday & Saturday nights

. I attend Paradise spa a few times and it was big spacious area with lots of areas to enjoy.It’s a shame it’s not still open as there is not many places for a single guy can attend on a Saturday night in or just outside London

I have to confess, I rather enjoyed the Wednesday lunchtimes… it broke up the working week in a very interesting way. It’s a shame it closed because it was a lot of fun. As well as the Wednesday, I liked the bisexual Monday (or was it Tuesday) evening… I used to go to that regularly with a very good female and male friend. Always good for a laugh…

Anyway; nice to hear from fellow paradise spa friends on here

I went on a Wednesday bday time once or twice myself, always surprised everyone but I always had a good time & I felt totally comfortable being there

I may be wrong but I think the bi nights were Tuesday because they were one of the nights we attended too

Such a shame it's gone

We enjoyed the spa too. Never had a bad night and only ever met one guy who tried to push his luck but he was soon jostled out of the room by every one else. Was a great place.

Its been years, since I was even back in that area. I went with an ex one night. I was enjoying but she wasn't comfortable, mankind being unkind, so we left within the hour.But I knew others who went always praised it.

I echo what the man said above, it was the only place I knew that you could as single man rock up on a Saturday night without prior booking.

I also attended some good interracial parties there.

Also, once a month I used to go on a Sunday to East London in the afternoon. I would take the long route home past Paradise Spa in the evening. I miss the place.

Unfortunately, because of the hosted private parties it wrongly got a bad name. The public occasions were chilled.

Only went there once with a female friend of mine. Was a really great night with a genuinely friendly crowd,but got ruined by one bloke who took liberties during some group fun in one of the private rooms. Won't hold that against the club though. I liked it,apart from that one thing.

Wednesdays was working girls. The whole floor wall to wall covered in towels on the floor, the prostitutes expressionless in missionary position and men just silently pumping them. Strangely enough, I preferred going on Wednesday because the men were all so polite and shy. But it was a very sad sight to see. I was allowed in by the owners because I was a regular, but they said I could only use the jacuzzis

I never went on a Wednesday (and for me, probably just as well), but I do miss Saturday evenings/nights. As someone mentioned above, not too many venues in and around London where single guys could go on a Saturday evening.

Was the first place I ever went to when I originally joined this site for an interracial party.

Really enjoyed it, met some lovely people and was very local.

Those party nights were brilliant

brings back lots of great memories,can't believe the place closed 5 years ago now

. I think Wednesday were the days / nights that the working girls were there from LAPC as on the LAPC website there is a Luna still on their website and LAPC are still running their events

I only ever went there the once think it was a thursday. Very friendly people the bar was nice. Facilites were ok but Rios are much better. To be honest the thought of working girls put me off the place. Not my thing at all.

Like others have mentioned, you could attend as a single guy on Saturday nights, usually good mix of couples and singles.

Could be a bit cliquey, but overall it’s a shame it’s no longer around

Visited there a number of times and always enjoyed. It had good facilities and not a bad place to go as either single or a couple

London / Essex borders

I went there a few times, the first being a Week after my first trip to Eurekas for a social from another forum (SH).

I was told about the club, the atmosphere and wasn't disappointed when I finally made the time visit. Probably went back a handful of times and always enjoyed myself, the people and the facilities.
