Is it me or does the London group suck!

I mean it’s just random posts with rarely anything interesting or anything more then a handful of replies before the post goes dormant.

I’d like to use this page to connect and grow a community of fellow London based people.

So if you’re London based, introduce yourself.

Let’s try and talk about London ? Things happening in London and perhaps arrange a social amongst our selves if we aren’t too weird.

I enjoy eating out , a nice pub with live music and watching sports.With regards to a social we currently have the Croydon socials and in a couple of weeks time there is the Bank social.Whilst another social would be nice from what I understand from the organisers they can be tricky to organise with regards to location , venue and the right mix of people.

I am Flor live in North west London but work in Central London .

An attendee to the London social’s which are great fun . I agree we need more of them but is a hard job getting them organised.

We are Herts based so London isn't an issue to get to on the whole.

I hope we do get more people introducing themselves here.

Definitely socials is something I’d love to organise. Yes I know it’s a headache at times. But the fun of a social will override that.

I have afew idea's i shared some on kik. But very low iron count the boys had lol.

Wanted it all on a plate. Without effort from them.

Hi. Harry here from north London, Palmers green

Was on here a few years back. Came off site to concentrate on life as things got quite hectic.

But the pull of the site was too strong. So back again

Love to get to know others locally. I know socials are probably the best way to do so, but hard to organise for me to get to.

Have joined couples (not through here) where I was invited to watch, light soft play from me. Very open to opportunity to have good times with others.

Happy to converse with others locally. Open to many things. Making friends. Making memories.

Morning all!

I'm Jay, been here years but have dipped in and out, attended the odd club night at eureka or Socials in the city.

Used to be South East and worked in Central, but moved to London/ Essex border a few years back and now WFH since COVID.

Work takes me all over North London during the week and love the chance of a coffee meet/ social if I'm local.

Can get into cental some evenings too with a bit of planning.

I'm rabbit and love a social, unfortunately I no longer reside in the smoke, but I do visit family and friends locally and would be more than happy to pass on any info about organising socials as I have a tad of experience being the organiser of both Heathrow and london socials pre pandemic ....

Seems like a few guys have done that already.

My opinion, people can read about others particular interests by clicking their profile.

I was hoping we can converse about London stuff. And perhaps things that aren’t on ones profile.

But feel free to share what you want. It’s an open community. And let’s keep things positive .

Love to get some thoughts. I’ve organised a number of socials. But not for a Fabs social.

each social is completely different and you can never guess or estimate a number until nearer the time, I always did mine at the weekend as I didnt work in london so a week day evening didnt work for me ...

Never put the venue details in the forums, try and get a good mix of people and my attitude was that if at least only one or two people turn up (as many change their minds at the last minute) then it's a bonus and I've had a chance to get out and meet new people.

Well done OP and posters for showing some enthusiasm. Let's hope the social comes to fruition. Although the forthcoming Bank social shows there is an appetite. More socials never hurts though. Unless you're in Essex where socials seem like an alien concept.

I’m Jack from Essex/East London borders and work and play mostly in London (thank you Dayuse).

As a guru of socials definitely follow and take Rabbit’s advice… none better

Absolutely will back a November or December gathering and Kings X or Soho are good venues.
