Certain aspects, yes. I'm definitely not missing the behaviour and attitude of many single guys, particularly on Friday evenings and Sunday mornings straight after couples evening.

I miss Rio’s the way it used to be about 10-20 years ago.

Not so much from when I last went 5-10 years ago.

Although, right now... I would very much LOVE to be there!!

Even though I've always found Rio's a friendly sort of place, it's a little bit shabby, particularly considering it's in Londo, and could really do with a makeover. Bristol Gardens Health Spa in Brighton is a lot more pleasant and better run.

Yes I observed and experienced that many times there - mainly on Friday evenings and especially Sunday mornings after midnight. For the last year or so I went until lockdown 1, I pretty much only went on couple's night, which I enjoyed way more.

Would love to hear stories from back in the day. Used to go occasionally about 5 years ago, but have occasionally read people reminiscing about the 80s/90s/00s.

I can imagine pre-internet it was much more word of mouth, and better for it?

Missing it terribly...especially as it must be nice and hot in there when it is freezing cold outside. I have been going on and off for ....about 20+ years. I suspect there may be a few more pushy guys now but all seem to desist if told to and the staff seem happy to chuck the real nuisances out.

Hope to get my FWB - or even a gang of Primals - back there sometime soonish when the plague has passed.

Lots of places in and out of the lifestyle have been closed for a long time, hopefully most of them will be able to reopen.

SilverLeigh is in Kent, just on the outskirts of London and their website confirms they are reopening in May...also Kestrel / AbFab have sent newsletters emails to confirm they are reopening in June....Bristol Garden (in Brighton though) is reopening in May too I believe ...but you are correct, in Central London Rios is unique...the two spa east London don’t really count and they will reopen....
