The actual Fake Taxi is based in London. Sutton I believe.

I've had a great meet with a guy who was a taxi driver once and I felt like i was making a fake Taxi scene. Was a lot of fun and would highly recommend.

You can pick up Hackney Carriages pretty cheap ????

Your be best off finding someone with a unplated ex cab as if caught being drove around by an licenced driver they will lose their taxi badge, which is their income, and would flag up on any dsb check which will make them unemployable in any driving industry. Sorry to be a party pooper

The Hackney lights that stick on top are cheap as chips, long as the driver isn't actually touting for business, I'm sure Impersonation of a cabbie is less likely to ruin someone's livelihood
