Crazy dreams and Nightmares lately?

So folks this past couple of days I’ve had some outrageous dreams. One involved being stuck in the middle of a riot, another in a boxing ring against Mike Tyson. Now, I thought it was just me but apparently it is common right now. For example on Twitter one guy had nightmares about Winnie the Pooh, another had nightmares about a psychotic cat trying to break into a car with the head of Paul Scholes on it!! Anyone else’s dreams crazy at the minute? (Btw no alcohol or drugs involved).

Very common side-effect of anxiety apparently.

I rarely dream and it hasn't changed, or is it just that I don't remember them?

I had a horrible dream that I was a white knight once. I would bend over backwards to in a vain attempt please every delusional woman I encountered. The more outlandish and illogical her bullshit was, the more I would valiantly attempt to defend the lady's honour.

Fortunately it was just a really bad dream, and I woke up

Coming on here can be a bit of a nightmare at times.

Seriously though I have don't recall having a single dream in the last 20 years but as already said I don't know if that means I don't dream at all or if I have no recollection of them as soon as I wake.

I'm assuming the first as I don't think my sleep pattern allows for dreaming.

I was in a hotel or maybe a giant house where loads of people lived and there was a monster trying to kill us all.

Whoever was leading us told us to hide in a room and stay quiet but i saw a bucket on a rope with a man going down the side of the building in it. Someone shouted to wait for the bucket to come back up but i jumped out the window and slid down the rope. I'd seen the monster rip someone to pieces so wasn't hanging about.

Dunno what happened after that but pretty sure there was no sex.

I have had the same horrible nightmare every now and again for the best part of 20 years now. It doesn't happen often but when it does, that's my sleep shot to shit for the night!

Mid March I had a few nights of nightmares when this whole Corona sh*t started to explode in Europe. Now I got used to it and to the sad daily statistics. It's now the other way around I sleep well but when I wake up in the morning the Corona nightmare is still ongoing.

"Has anyone that has the same recurring nightmare ever gone for therapy to explain it and hopefully to make it stop "

No, but at a time when I was having therapy I had vivid and disturbing nightmares which were clearly related to the issues I was sorting through. Very often the answer is right in front of us in a situation we feel stuck in, taking action to resolve it will eliminate the dreams in my experience.

Evety dream has a meaning, we dream every 90 minutes whether we remember them or not. I have a few books on dreams they are just so interesting. Sometimes meaning total opposite of whst you dreamt. For example i kept dreaming that i was loosing my teeth (have all my own), it meant i had insecurities.

I did speak to someone about my one. Only because it's so fucked up. They basically said there's a message in there somewhere & once I know the message, it would stop.

I ain't got the message yet!

This is going to sound stupid compared to some of your dreams.

I have good and weird dreams just like the rest of ye.

However sometimes I have a problem in work that I can't solve and since I'm the boss that's a problem

However I'll have a dream and in the dream the solution comes to me

It's like my brain needed the rest to figure it out

Thank God

Once you find some clarity and understanding and peace in mind, they usual tend to leave. In my experience with the sane recurring dreams this is what happened, i read about them which gave me a sense meaning. Then i started to meditate,i also started to talk about what's going on in my mind to a trust worthy person. This all really helped me alot.

Apparently I was going through a complete work scenario the other night in my sleep! Some people didn't come off well and the pillow took a hammering, along with some folks who weren't pulling their weight

Can't believe that I wasn't jumped on for my power play tactics and intermittent snoring between outbursts

If I go to sleep on left side, rarely, then I have fucked up dreams.

Sleeping in right side, normal dreams that I rarely remember.

Apparently it's a common thing.

Interesting information about dreams is as follows. The un conscious side of our personality is represented in dreams by a person of the opposite sex. The feminine side of a mans un conscious is know as the Anima, while the masculine side of a woman's un conscious is called the Animus. Both represent a person soul... Xx

Has anyone relived a day in our lives that makes you stop and look around and say to yourself you have seen this day before like every single thing during the day you have either dreamt of it or you have literally visioned the day or simply you have discovered time travel sort of

Few weeks ago I saw 3 wild cats (not pussies) scurrying in a dream.. A woman the next day happened to say that she'd dreamt she'd also seen three cats running around...

So am guessing that's symbolic of chaos

But dreams are symbolic with a unique meaning to each person who has a certain dream

Dreams usually in my experience reflect what us happening in your life. Some lecture I was at referred too dreams and stress.Advice was not to eat or drink late before bed...Now it's prob too much social media or tv/ Netflix over stimulating the brain prob a cause for restless sleep and vad dreams.
