The Road to Nowhere

Having a face to face chat with my dad, other family members & friends.

I know my dad is really struggling with having to cocoon and I'd love more than anything to give him a hug. Virtual hugs just ain't cutting it!

Just the normal freedom of movement that we all took for granted. Popping to my parents', a friend's, the cinema, the pub, the shops. Just being able to do it without a second thought.

That's a tough one but if you struggle just imagine the lovely physical clash that will happen when you see each other again.

Somewhere in Co. Down

Being able to see people I want to see and hug. Apart from that not much else as I'm still working so I'm not at home all the time even though I would prefer to be. I must be one of the only ones looking at to stay at home looking at most of the comments on here over the last few days.

Yeah I remember Kaizer saying not that long ago 'as long as I have sky sport' I'll be grand. I answered something along the lines what if all the games get cancelled.... I'm sorry I shouldn't have said anything.

I don't mind being at home myself but the nature of the work I was doing meant I had no contact with others outside my home so I could in theory still be earning a wage and not be costing the state €350 a week. Such is life though and since I've been told to stay at home that's where I'll stay.
