Over the last week or so ive been chatting to a long time fab friend whos struggling with being in isolation..

Im not sure if this will work but im thinking if anyone is struggling & would like a wee message every so often just to see how you are etc..

No agenda just a fabber checking on other fabbers trying to bring a smile to there face in these uncertain times

This is open to all.. Drop me a message or a wink & il check in with you every so often xx

Thanks for taking the time to read my post ..

Stay safe & keep smiling

Great idea stevie. I’ve been trying to keep in touch with as much family and friends over the last few days.

Sometimes of does help to have a person to talk to that’s outside of your family/ friends circle.

This is a fabulous idea OP, totally respect for this post. I am very blessed to have such a good outlet, but i am so very very aware of people who don't have that kind support. I have been phoning and checking in with family and friends at this challenging time. That's all we can do is be there for each other, united xx. Thanks for the post OP, it is the most important post in here right now.

It's definitely a tough time when you are sitting at home with loads of time to think. I'm only off for a week from work and it all creeps back in. Amazing how keeping busy can shut those thoughts out.

Well done OP.

Keeping busy is massively important. Saw an article today how this is gonna seriously play with people mentally. It's something totally new to us. I have been staying in bar a bit of exercise but I can honestly say it this went on months I'd be fit to crack up and so would many others I'd imagine. Everyone's normal daily life/week is gone and lots of stuff people enjoy Is gone with it.

Great wee thread, for anyone that is struggling just reach out to someone, who be surprised at you is how there to help.

Listen to podcasts, take up a hobby (baking bread has become one of mine)

I thankfully working from home and it's ok , the nights are tough but if it means keeping my loved ones safe.

I know I should count

my blessings I'm not out on the front line

But going from working full time to not and being at home 24/7 has its pitfalls also

I've tried to keep busy around the house and keep from leaving the house as much as I can

But I'm a creature of habit

I like having a purpose to my day apart from housework

I like my job and miss the girls I work with

I just have so much praise for any one in the frontline

I miss having the giggles at work and especially when some stuff I see is crap it's good to have someone to chat about it, I'm backline of Frontline staff and some of the stuff there are dealing with is unreal. They definitely don't get the recognition or the pay they deserve. Seen someone post about been Frontline and a comment was made about the overtime etc. No-one is making huge money from overtime in this country.

Here's to us all getting through this stronger, wiser and a little bit more appreciative of you is in our lives
