that's the case!!!that people are pretty thick when it comes to these things.you might sit in house and worry about your loved ones and neighbour's, someone else will be walking around places and sneezing and coughing on everyone.

Like what Wuhan in china imposed. Only allowed out to get food or pharmacy.. What we have now is something along the lines of it but it won't be enforced near as much as the Chinese situation.. I know of people who have gone out for a random drive this morning and were not stopped by authorities.. Doesn't sound like a lockdown to me.. Interesting to know that 20 guards have been diagnosed with covid 19

This is a last attempt by our government to lessen the impact of the first wave, so intensive care units aren't totally overwhelmed by large numbers of critically ill people. So hopefully the vast majority of people will cooperate.

Dublin/Drogheda

I agree with the decision made by the government yet my workplace is deemed essential which I disagree. The public are told to stay indoors but my job depends on public customers so it's kind of a catch 22. Maybe when nobody comes they will realise that we should be closed.

We don't want Dublin to end up like new York with refrigerator trucks storing dead bodies. Don't be out unless for food or emergency

This is the thing people are expected to be adult and know the gravity of the situation there should be no need for gaurds to padlock people into their homes of use force to break up social gatherings.

Stay safe, stay healthy, STAY HOME

I appreciate all the people who turn up to work in this situation from doctors guards shop workers refuse collectors if they stop working we really start suffering so just say thank you to any worker you come across today it will be a long day for them putting up with abuse from what I can only describe as morons we need these people to feel appreciated so they can get on with there jobs. Keeping the shelves packed, rubbish collected, patients looked after, don't forget these people have families as well they are litterlly putting their lives on the line for us. Show your appreciation a little.

Rant over but think about it.

Therein lies the problem some people won't take the advice.. In China people disobeyed the lockdown were beaten with batons and thrown into jail no such thing will happen here this isn't a communist state.. I think it'll never be fully eradicated in Ireland and other western countries as we have too much freedom
