I go walking with a mate on stretch of country road and we stay about 10 metres apart. I think this is safe

Is there any point going with someone if you're 10 meters apart? It's probably very safe as 2m is the recommended distance

Were still in talking distance and we jog most of the way. Just breaks the boredom up

If you are downwind of someone who is coughing and spluttering with any respiratory infection, it's possible to catch it at ten meters. If neither of you are coughing, I would say that you're pretty safe..

It’s safe alright. Better have a mask on. And dispose it safely when you get back.

But the bigger question is why?

Just for fresh air and a bit of exercise. We're well out in the sticks
