Sure 96% cases in other criteria were negative. You had hypochondriacs ringing right left and centre to their gp. That couldnt keep going.

Yes but how many in future with mild symptoms won't even ring the Doctor take a few paracetamol and say nothing

What difference would them being offered a test in 4 to 5 days time make?

If they are responsible adults they will self isolate.... if not they probably wouldnt anyway
