So with all this downtime what things are you doing that you didn't have time to do before?

Unfortunately I'm still working but on my days off I can practice a lapdance routine I promised someone lol

Im lucky in that I work nights. But im getting a lit of golf in as my club is virtually empty. Also doing a bit of work on the house. If im feeling lazy ,then its a bit of reading or suduko. Miss my swim though as leisure centre is closed.

I drove through Killarney yesterday and the park was jammers, feckin eejits. Over90% of shops and businesses are closed. Think they should close all tge public parks for 2 weeks.

Agree and sooner the better. Putin in Russia has come up with right idea. 15 days quarentine or 5 years jail...simples.

Fully agree here , at the moment is like a 1/2 lockdown.

Some people have lost jobs, some are still working on the frontline to help.

Full parks and beaches are a slap in the face for both examples above.

Totally. Seeing the pics all over social media yesterday of parks and beaches packed. At a family funeral yesterday and not able to sit beside family, hug them or shake hands, makes me so angry that people can't do what they had been advised.

Harsh but effective and needed, Irish defence forces should be out two weeks ago around airport building testing and quarantine camps not yesterday on the quays.

I am lucky I live in the county side so I can go for a walk without meeting anyone. I went foraging for wild garlic this weekend. So I spent the rest of the weekend cooking with it. I had wild garlic pesto pasta for dinner last night absolute delicious. I won't be kissing anyone for a while so it's grand to be stinking of garlic!

I work in social care so I’m still working and have extra hours now. With everywhere closed and not even going to go to the beach or mountains for a walk due to the stupid amount of people there I’ll be catching up with hobby stuff and tv. Going to tackle the garden too and try get it sorted for the summer. Might even have a garden party when all this is over

It does as it's been demonstrated few know how to make and then choose the responsible decision by choice.

They can't then complain when government says by law you can't do this or can't to do that.

I do think society has just created glorified robots in many ways, who don't want to make choices, yet complain when they are then removed.

I've not left house except once to ask couple elderly neighbours if they need anything and get some shopping in past 10 days.

Exercise in back garden with fresh air each day, weather has been kind recently. Spring cleaned kitchen/living room yesterday and today (it's needed it). Bedroom is next. May go get some paint and start on something inside between watching a series I've always wanted to see. Been keeping a journal for a month now too.

South Side.

I'm self employed, and have closed my business. I live in a rural place and this self isolation is not much different from any other time. I'm enjoying it, actually, lots of gardening and decluttering. 6 bottles of wine left.

Just done the garden . Now going to paint living room. Going to do a neighbours decking for her. She is a single parent with 2 kids. Always something to be done for yourself or others. In these hard times its nice to help others who arent as lucky as myself.
