Just wondering if any ladies have or have friends any experience of cosmetic surgery in Ireland. Have been looking at a clinic, Very good reviews but its in lithuania and im not sure about travelling that far so just wondering if anyone has experience with the ones here. any info greatly appreciated xxx

Not quite the same but have friends who return home for dental work as its top quality and cheap.

I think we have a slightly false image of some of these countries as under develope

Have friends who had stuff done in lituania and was well impressed . Avoca in wicklow are good too have friends had stuff done there too

Yeah the clinic in lithuania have brilliant reviews and im part of a group of women who have gotten or are getting surgery done. Its just more the thought of having to travel on my own after surgery is more freaking me out. And its very afforadble there too

It's only a 2h flight to and from lithuania. Country itself is absolutely tiny too so to be honest - very little travelling involved compared to some mega drives I have had around Ireland.

Because they want to?

Same reason dye their hair, soend hours in the gym or wax.

Not everyone who gets cosmetic surgery has issues beyond wanting to change something spectic that bothers them

Be careful sometimes cheap isn't always great you get what you pay for.. A number of people have died recently after getting simple cosmetic procedures abroad.. Most notably in turkey

Please do the research in other countries than Ireland and the UK. Check in details what clinics offer you.

It could be any country in Europe: Czech Rep, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, or Hungary.

You may find a good quality service for less money and it doesn't need to be crap.

There are lots of plastic surgeons who failed and lots of women were looking for someone who can fix it.

Will check if the place I have in mind does cosmetic too as they specialise in reconstructive surgery.

Heading to instanbul later in year for a hair procedure (it was to be done last year but I had to postpone )

Sister had a procedure in Czech rep about 5/6 years ago. She told the cabin crew when boarding flight incase she had issues when flying home. Never a days problem since. It was a gastric band
