It's pretty much a Chinese version of eBay only cheaper.. Some items are poor quality some a very good.. You can read reviews of other buyers and its a good indication of what the product is like.. For example I bought an Ireland Rugby Jersey for 16 euro. Its counterfeit but its a carbon copy of the genuine Jersey sold in the shops at 80 euro.. No difference in quality and no way of telling the difference either

Great site order loads of things from it. Hint its where most of your cheap ebay stuff come from but aliexpress is the comsumer side of it.

Install a browser addon to track prices tho as deals don't mean deals same as here plus watch your import duty.

I bought a pair of cheap aero carbon fiber bicycle wheels from AliExpress over two years ago for €350, (most likely manufactured by Indentured workers) and I've been very impressed with their build quality. They have withstood the very worst our crappy Irish potholed roads could throw at them, not to mention the weight of my lardy arse.

A friend of mine who has more money than sense, paid €2600 for a similar set made in the USA by unionised labour, and his broke within the first six months of occasional use.

Some companies in China produce high quality products, while others are churning out rubbish.

I've bought lots of stuff from here. I can say nothing but good things about it. Saved a fortune on genuine branded products . Slow postage alright but that's expected before you even log on do no surprise there. Great site go forth and save

Alibaba for bulk buys (manufacturers hub website)

Now for personal use it's Wish app.

It's interesting how you get hammered with import duty if you buy a whole bicycle from China but you can escape the duty if you buy parts alone.. You can buy a carbon frame for a fraction of the cost here it's amazing

dunno, i reckoned aliexpress started out ok for a knock-off shoppe on the irish side until certain (necessary but eveile!) state departments started monitoring the postal volumes.

had a few postals intercepted and vat requested. 'they' were requesting extra duty for copyright infringements on the knock-off godds at a stage so gave the brush after that happened.

did anyone else have same/similar experience ??

Used it to get small bits and bobs but I know some people that got high quality fakes from it. Read the reviews and look at other buyers pics and comments. Expect a wait I forgot I ordered off it once it took 7/8 weeks

I've bought so many counterfeit rugby and football jerseys from it never been requested to pay extra.. I'd knock it on the head if I was

DHgate is decent too .There's a woman on insta.. thepostmanhatesme has an account that a lot of women follow and seem to get great bargains on . Another chinese site used is yupoo where individual sellers have shops on there. If you google a particular designer brand and yupoo you will get loads of different links to yupop sellers

Many chinese have very functional English. Well worth a look

whatever about worth a looksee there sluttykate aye and indeed they're absolutely great at maunufacturing just about anything under that lucky old sun --if you're prepared to wait a moonphase and a half to receive the stuff. plenty access to certain less than federalé controlled stuff and in some cases forgo certain expectations ya usually attribute to goods of standard/merchantable quality but what do we want on the el cheapo? thats right..ask not what what that country can do what what what. a useful resource and supply network to have eitherway. maybe.

I find dhgate slightly more expensive than Ali.. They seem to charge a lot for delivery whereas Ali will usually do free delivery

Used it once. Took months for an inferior product to arrive. I'd gladly spend a bit more to get from a shop/known producer these days.

Are you on comission or something? I read an article last year about a mountaineer who bought what would be thousands of euros of kit from it. It was all counterfeit. The clothing wasn't warm, the climbing ropes started to fray and the climbing rods broke... luckily he was with climbers who had bought the right stuff. I'd be sceptical of that Fram is actually carbon...or would withstand the forces a (difficult and hence expensive to engineer) good carbon frame would go through.
