She's a good friend of mine.

She's in the 3rd week of a 6 week lockdown at the moment.

She was telling us all on Facebook for weeks how bad it could get.

the amount I saw out walking today while working was unreal. People need to get out of the house for a while or else they'll crack.

54 today, soon we’ll be celebrating when we are saying numbers have reduced to just 54 today!

Numbers are likely to skyrocket in the days ahead.

It’s terrifying stuff and I’m not easily spooked!

Stay safe and exercise as much isolation and common sense as possible.

15000 is the expected number to hsve C19 by end of the month...the death rate is around 3%, so that's 450 people not to see the summer sun.

so if a lockdown can help reduce the numbers, then lockdown, follow all the advice & clean clean clean your hands

Well they are accurate in relation to the diagnosed cases....

But ya of couse the numbers will be higher the more you test.

Clearly the true figure must be way higher at this point, the health service simply cannot keep up with it and there would always be a time lag anyway. There will be many who suffer a mild illness and are never tested or choose to hide it, yet can easily spread it to others who will be more seriously affected-all the more reason why we need to limit social contact as much as possible.

I just have seen a new death announced which we saw pretty quickly for the first two.

Just got me wondering. Its not really a big deal in the grand scheme of things

The worst place you could be in times like this is a town or a city..the more people there are around you the more chance of you catching it also whilst washing your hands is a great way to prevent the spread of any bacterial or viral infection it does very little in the prevention of covid 19..the primary way this spreads is through water droplets in the air.. Couching sneezing even speaking produce water droplets and if your mouth nose or eyes comes into contact with these droplets you will be infected.. If you can imagine on a cold day you can see your own breath almost as an exhaust fumes.. You can only see this when it's cold but it's like that all the time.. People are constantly emitting water droplets that's why this infection is so easily transmissible and they say that masks are no help you will still catch it total rubbish any type of barrier or screen between your mouth and nose will make it much more difficult to come into contact with said droplets.. That's why health care workers wear n95 respirator masks.. They do work

They are also using eye protection because the wet eye will accept water droplets and cause infection so either stay indoors or if u have if go out keep distance between u and others

They wait a few days before announcing the death rates.Its to give the family time to grief and arrange removal of the deceased. With the 2nd person who passed away apparently it was 2 days after she had passed before it was announced. Either way its an awful sad time for that family and condolences to them.Many people won't see another summer unfortunately.
