where the wild roses grow

So yesterday I went all C19 and bleached, washed, sterilised (is that spelling correct? Looks right, feels wrong) the house. Then I emptied my wardrobe and did a declutter, then I redid the pot press (I know crazy as fook).

All the while that I was doing above chores I had the music box on shuffle (and extremely loud) and a few unexpected tunes came out of left field, all of which had me waddling my fat ass to them, and it got me thinking,,,,

What tunes do you enjoy that are not your normal go to?

Jasus I took a while but I got there

Rhianna - 'S.O.S'

Destiny's Child - 'Bug-a-boo'

Keri Hilson ft. Timbaland - 'Return the Favour'

Certain tunes from that Pop/Rn'B shit of the late 90's - 2000's really appeal to me for some reason

I should have mentioned, 2 of the tunes that got me thinking were, albatross by the shadows and wishful thinking by china crisis

middle of nowhere

I'm drawn to 70s music atm. Probably because I found Now70s on music channels. Jeeze the 70s did nothing for men but the women were hot, and I'm straight.... maybe I've gone fabstraight.

Ok I know probably none of you have heard of them , but I’m the biggest Horslips fan ever. I’ve seen them 6 times in the last year or so . They were to play in the Olympia on 17th but obviously that’s cancelled. The vest band in the world . I actually can’t express how much I love them

Omg , As I said I can’t express how great these guys are . I’m friends with all of them on Facebook and have been to see them so many times we’re friends now in real life . A national treasure , their first few albums my particular favourites , Happy To Meet, Sorry To Part , The Tain , The Book Of Invasions , I know , I know , I know , I’m going on a bit , but these guys are rock and roll royalty ,,, Johnny fean is the best guitar player in the world

I know , I know , I know , it’s going to be a long few weeks/ months , but Johnny fean is still the best guitar play in the world, the first time I got to see them live was in Belfast November 2018 , I cried with happiness driving up there and when JF sung I’ll Be Waiting , best day of my life
