Mine is open but its empty, and everything is well sanitised, and provided with wipes sanitise as you go. Saunas and steam rooms closed but the fact that no one there anyway means no one to catch anything from!

Mine is still open as part of a hotel too, they have half the equipment closed off for social distancing and plenty of disinfectant and paper towels for cleaning equipment and staff go around regularly wiping everything down. Was there last eve and was quiet enough which meant no issue with equipment being halved but I think am going to give it a miss for a while now and just workout at home

Yeah id say they will all close the Wii fit was good if anyone still has it it's not as good as the gym but it's a good alternative if you don't have one of course just do home workouts

Good god I would have thought a gym would be the absolute worst place in the world to be. All those surfaces, indoors, people breathing heavy/ very heavy, sweating, wiping their faces etc. The probability of catching it in a gym if infected people are present must be astronomical

the one across the road from us is only letting a certain amount of people in at a time. has outdoor pitches as well. these have been empty since the schools closed. i do know there has been a surge in yoga mats and kettle bells being sold in sports shops.

My gym is open also..

Some parts are closed off..

I started wearing the surgical gloves while working out..it feels weird... But definitely no harm in it..

By the way.. if you do go to the gym.. wipe down what ever you used afterwards the staff can't clean it straight away after you .

Make sure you dont touch your face or anything that will like a towel of water bottle before you take the gloves off otherwise the gloves are as usless as your hands

The Road to Nowhere

Joined a new one last week & it closed on Thursday.

I know there's some trainers in my area running semi PT classes still out of community centres & gaa halls.

Walking & running for the win for me at the moment.

Isn't the steam room good for flushing things out your system I've found them very beneficial anyway not saying they are a complete cure to anything tho

I try to go three or four times a week but I've missed the last 1,200 times so hopefully it won't effect me too much

Mines open but its very small and never more than 10 people at a time. Plus racks mean nobodies too close to each other. I'd say it'll close soon though.

sure Johnson wants 80% to get infected. That's his way of dealing with it.

A cull of the old and vulnerable imo.

Think most will keep the kids off school regardless and rightly so ,I know we will be !
