That's kinda the complete opposite to being a timewaster.

A timewaster would tell you you're not to far away, arrange to meet and then not show up.

I'm not sure how someone telling you they don't want to meet you because you're too far away can be construed and somehow having wasted your time

A lot of peeps are interested in finding repeat meets or fb/fwb. The further away you are the less likely your a candidate for the above.

Most say there will be a repeat soon.. but never touch base again....lol... Probably driven by adrenaline...

If that is correct, I wonder why they would chat with someone living far or is your location correct? I don't mind and I use an approximate location as my area is big...

Come one, it's not like you live in Russia or Americas that someone would have to travel for 6 hrs... Lol... Just people being lazy and without balls... If you drive then there shouldn't be a problem at all...

Some use it as an easy out instead of saying not interested. Ireland is a small country and pretty decent roads and if people were really interested they would sort something. I travelled over an hour for a social meet yesterday.

"Totally agree with you "

People occasionally get nervous when they see two conflicting things on a profile. Kesh is Fermanagh but your profile says Monaghan.

Also, just because you're here or you're close isn't going to be the main attraction. If people are attracted to you then distance isn't a problem. I know I wouldn't walk across the road for someone I'm not attracted to. Work on your own game rather than wonder whats wrong with everyone else.

Somewhere in Co. Down

Probably because they are not interested. Or if someone is looking a regular fb or Fwb then distance can be a big issue. Most people have busy lives so don't want to be travelling for long distances regularly to meet someone.

Waterford

From our perspective we prefer to meet people who are local. For the simple reason we have small kids and care for his elderly father. Anything could happen with them regardless of how carefully a meet is planned. I dont want to be ringing someone who has travelled from dublin and they are gone past carlow to tell them we have to cancel because of x,y,z. we are then branded time wasters even though the situation would be out of our control. At least with someone local they wouldnt be too far away and theres no pressure on anyone. If they were planning on being down in waterford for something then we would see where it goes but as it stands for the reasons above we decline. Its a pity because there are some lovely guys further away but such is life

Change your location to Leitrim, they're are so few fabbers there that you're statistically more likely to get a ride.

We Always meet for a social drink or chat first and a lot of those social meets went nowhere for various reasons .

We have no intention of driving four hours to meet someone and We wouldn’t expect them to do it either ( definitely don’t want to hear the I’ll book a room just in case but no there’s no pressure shite either )

We can choose from the plentiful selection nearby instead

Maybe they're only using that as their " excuse " not to meet you,so it don't dent your confidence or offend you etc ,am not saying for one second it would or did ,all l'm saying is some ladies can throw up any reason they like not to meet and maybe that's one of them , who really knows in this joint what come in the mailbox in replies but at least they replied to you.

Plus it will hit you in the pocket ,you might feel great driving a huge distance the first time cause you know what's on the other end but if it was to continue you'd get fair browned off constantly travelling long distances even if the lady is Seriously hot, anything around an hour's drive is plenty to be driving on a regular basis ,maybe financially it may not be a problem to a lot but if ya have Serious other financial bills to meet every month the novelty of travelling long distances will wear and you'll start to look for closer ones...and yes ,l've bought that T-shirt...and a good friend of mine was also doing it regularly and stopped for the simple reason of getting browned off travelling and trying to keep work up to date plus the lady started to make different demands on the time he was to be there so he just left it all there .

We have no problem travelling somewhere and staying overnight. Its a night away for us even if we don't end up having sex with the meet, and social meets have been known to evolve into more...

I seriously doubt people don’t want to meet you just because you’re from Kesh. Potential meets need some information to interest them. Your bio says “I’m horny”.... if you get a meet with such an I thought about profile I’ll eat my hat, video it and post it on here for people to watch
