manager and the delivery fella need a slap. Thats really not good enough. Regardless of what he did or didnt say you dont text a customer. And i dont blame for your friend for being wary either

It’s an interesting one , I get the sense that they must have some sort of relationship via text , if it was their first interaction I would be alarmed and would be replying that yes I am married to Conor , you know the local guard. I don’t think you overreacted some people just don’t know when their crossing a line
