Looks like 2020 is the year rock music if finally returning to Ireland. (Hopefully the corona virus will prevent tour cancellations. So, folks who is attending any of these gigs?

Guns n Roses

The Black Crowes

Whitesnake

Simple Minds

Genesis

Kings of Leon

Paul Weller

The Who

Ohh and I know I’ve forgotten some others, apologies in advance!

Some of my friends have poor tastes in music or don’t want to go on holiday destinations I pick but you know what - I just GO! They’ll be alright!

Hes good live alright ...the last time he played here was during the volcano erupting in Iceland and all flights were cancelled.

He hired a helicopter for 12 grand and flew from Wales.

He walked on stage calling the audience lucky cunts cos he spent his own money to get here ...very funny

Do you meet a lot of fans going to the gigs like you travelling around

I know for Bruce and U2 the fans can be a bit fanatical and organise the queuing system for everyone and nobody gets past them into the pit area.

Are you sure you could handle my out of tune and out of key attempts at singing at the top of my voice for 2 hours.

Think carefully now

Love both bands. Have seen Pearl jam 6 times and the crowes before. I remember Pearl Jam in Slane in the 90’s - epic day that was!! I have secured tickets to a show abroad along with tickets for other legends, Aerosmith. Sadly, I expect both gigs to be cancelled.

The building I work in has closed now for 2 weeks but over the last week over 70,000 people have come in

This cant come too soon to be honest.

I think a lot of summer gigs will also be cancelled due to logistical problems like building stages and insurance issues
