Technically on 20 th March ends 20th June when summertime begins . June 21st hence longest day of the year

But for seasons March 1st

For March , April , may

As a brit in ireland I was kinda weirded out by folks here claiming spring starts on 1st Feb... in the whole rest of the world its 1st March

We were always told in school that winter was November, December, and January. Spring was February, March, and April.

Is that wrong?!

I always thought jan, feb , Mar, apr , May , Oct, Nov & Dec we’re winter lol
