She had a nice set on her. Hardly inappropriate to thought about her, were discussing the fact whether people knew her, not whether she is guilty or not

You have the right to express your opinion of course, but when you sign up to a service like this then you agree to abide by the rules. Fab owns the server that holds the text we all write and pays for the costs associated with providing the service, and therefore has the right and responsibility to enforce the rules as it sees fit. As soon as you click "send message" it's out of your hands.

"Poor lady!! She stabbed a guy to death for trying to jump start his car lol"

I'm sure everyone's first sympathies go to the innocent victim, his partner, kids and other close family. I have to admit I also have a lot of pity for this woman's kids and family. Fee people (including myself) know what factors in her life drove her to such a mentally ill state to do what she did. Nobody wakes up one morning and gets that angry. It takes years of frustration and stress to drive someone to attack an innocent person and stab them to death. Whatever it was about the victim's ( stranger to her ) actions that annoyed her, it was obviously just the last little stray in her life that broke her sanity....so I can't help feeling some compassion for her as well.

Maybe if many of us had walked our lives in her shoes, then 'There but for the grace....'

Your right I don't know for sure but I strongly suspect so going by the reports reports and the details of both the attack and her demeanour at her arraignment hearing. Her profiles on various sites may give people more clued in than me an insight into her personality, but from all the pics and narrative I've seen and read on there she did not appear like a constantly angry person.

People who are angry all the time are surely struggling with there mental health also I would think ?

While I admire your compassion and share it.

I think it is important not to always write off violent behavior due to mental health issues.

It stigamtizes mental health issues and creates a link that is not as frequent as people may think

I do agree with you here. while I have compassion for all involved with this, Self responsibility is something lacking in society today. We are always looking for a reason to blame someone's behaviour while at the end of the day we are all responsible for our own behaviour.

That's very true, I agree and that's why I'm only talking about my impressions of this tragedy alone. I know full well that the vast majority of people who suffer with most mental health issues do not behave violently ever.

Neither do I. I think most incidents of bad behavior by adults is down to their character, personality and the level of respect / contempt they have for others. As said above by another person, everyone should take responsibility for their own actions and many do not. There's no reason to believe the woman in question won't genuinely acknowledge the devastation she has caused.

If you learn anything from this its not to be lazy and inconsiderate and steal other peoples parking spots.

Also its perfectly okay to be angry if someone parks in your driveway/spot, they are a total cunt. If the cops policed the issue you could just phone them, but they wont. So you have to confront them yourself, that is the advice from the courts, the police, the legal system.

If she's found guilty but insane, she will only get three years in the central mental hospital in Dundrum. Apparently different rules apply to women who commit murder or manslaughter.

It's called female privilege. A woman is less culpable for her actions than a man is, for some inexplicable reason. I blame those pesky radical feminists ....

Correct, getting out of Dundrum is very hard. I think they are trying to make it easier, but once declared sane by the doctors in Dundrum, you can still spend the rest of your life in there.

You have to jump through 3 or 4 loops, and being sane is only 1, the others can be at the whims of people who can literally do a coin toss infront of you and you cant complain.

May I just remind you that you don't actually know what happened as yet since no evidence has been presented. Also, your grasp of how the law works is pretty piss poor.

Geography may not be your strong point either if you think Stoke on Trent is in Ireland.

She can't be found guilty and insane. It's either one or the other. If she is guilty then it means, being of sound mind, she knew that what she was doing was a crime and was aware of the consequences.

If insane, then she wasn't aware that what she was doing was wrong or what the consequences would be.

By the definition of insanity, insane people don't actually know they are insane.

Maybe those "pesky radical feminists" were born out of ill treatment by or interaction with misogynistic men. Just saying.

"Well it's highly likely she will be walking the streets of Tallaght again in less than three years, mark my words. I just feel sorry for the victims family- and I hope they get Justice for this mindless senseless crime.."

What about the females in the victim's family. Do you feel sorry for them or, being female, are they beneath compassion?

Unreal. A woman stabs a bloke to death and you all feel sorry for her, but if it was a bloke that stabbed a woman who was a fabber you'd all be there with you pitch forks and fire sticks demanding he his profile removal.

She murdered a bloke in cold blood.

Or shall I remind you all how you all ganged up on me because I made a porn that went viral and you all protested I was to be removed off the site and you all slatted me off in this forum and even made sure you all went on every media thread on Facebook to voice your jealous hatred against me. You did not think about how your nasty comments would affect me as a person. No. The way you lot acted was as if I'd killed someone....but hold on wait....someone just did and look how you're all feeling sorry for her.

Your all a bunch of Hippocrates. The lot of ya.

Hippocrates was a Greek physician but that's another debate altogether

Some of us will wait and see the evidence produced before convicting anyone. Murder is a word that applies to an unlawful killing in a very specific set of circumstances and can only be decided by a jury having heard all the evidence. That's kinda how the whole justice system works.

I'm with Carla on this.

She stabed a guy in cold blood. Mental health brake or not.

I feel there is more to this story than just a simple argument over a parking spot.

But none the less she did kill that guy. It is very true that of this was a guy. He would be long strung up

"Correct, getting out of Dundrum is very hard. I think they are trying to make it easier, but once declared sane by the doctors in Dundrum, you can still spend the rest of your life in there.

You have to jump through 3 or 4 loops, and being sane is only 1, the others can be at the whims of people who can literally do a coin toss infront of you and you cant complain."

This might well be the dumbest comment I have seen on this site since we joined. Your lack of knowledge and understanding on how CMH works is mind boggling. To even write a comment saying " once declared sane by the doctors in Dundrum, you can still spend the rest of your life in there" is baffling and shows zero understanding of how the mental health system and DPP operate.Having been through the gates in CMH dundrum supporting a friend with a serious mental illness over many years to the point of them returning to a normal life. All came about because of the work of the leading forensic psychologists and mental health care workers in the country who's aim is to give all inside their facility a chance of having some semblance of normal life.

They are not there to judge people on their reasons for ending up under their care. Comments like yours prevent people from seeking help with mental health issues when they most need it. I like most here know not a single proven fact about this case other than 6 children being left without parents. I won't comment on it but the only positive I can take from this thread is finally building up a good block list. Everyone has the right to comment but common decency should come first and its in short supply here

Carla you hit the nail on the head here.

There may very well be more to the story but the solicitor like many others that have taken cases like this got that mental health issue in right off the bat. It's a piss poor excuse to get cold blooded killers off with a lighter sentence.I feel sorry for her husband if he had no knowledge of what was about to happen and for the victims entire family.

Every single thing you post on here is just plain wrong, and tainted by your obvious hatred of women. Sabina had just passed through Cork on her way to England and she got five years, due to diminished responsibility from a shared psychological episode with her twin sister Ursula.

Free speech means you have the legal right to express your opinion anywhere you like. You DO have that legal right. You are perfectly entitled to say something that might be dangerous, a state secret, prejudicing a trial etc. but you could face the legal consequences for that. That doesnt mean you dont have the right to say it. Just that you could find yourself in legal hot water for it. Free speech doesnt mean that noone will react legally or in any other way to what you've said. When you talk here you are using a service thats provided by a private company who have a responsibility for what is said on the service that it owns. They have priorities and moderarion rules. If you own the server then your be able to publish whatever you liked freely. If you're using a service paid for and supported by a 3rd party, then you must abide by their rules. This DOES NOT effect your right to freee speech.
