M&g with a twist

Heya folks so we have been to alot of meet and greets chatting with you lovely people and we have been getting the same feedback from them all not what we expect!! Expected play!! So we are putting the idea out there to see if we get enough interest we will organise our own one would there be any intrest in a meet and greet with a twist a specially prepared place for the option of play... so there would be the normal meet and greet but there will be a different place for play! What is your opinion folks x

Might be tricky to find a venue that could support that. Bars and hotels that normally hold the meet and greet crowd wouldnt allow it.

Vanilla club in Dublin as well as Red velvet club - two established clubs with fully set up play areas. (Only two I can think of off the top of my head)

As far as m&g events go - I've yet to see one advertised as anything else but a social.

Play parties where play is expected are also advertised as such.

Now that said - it is beyond frustrating to organizers when they do everything they can to get a message across that no play is to take place at meet and greet socials yet their inboxes are still full of messages along the lines "is this a sex party?" "Is there play areas", "will I get to have sex?", "will I get a bj?".

Now all above being said - even if you attend a play party - never expect that anyone must play with you without their consent.

If and when you are organizing a play party - don't expect everybody being involved in play with just anyone. Those kinds of things only happen between closed doors among people who all know each other, who most likely have previously met at a social meet and greet.

I wonder would those clubs let meet and greet organisers take money, control the door, and entry policy?

What would distinguish these meet and greets from any other regular club night?

FYI there WAS an attempt at holding a meet and greet at whatever the new name is for what used to be ikandi in Limerick. Not sure how it went. Did anyone here go?

i think a better explanation is needed. i can only assume that you would host the M&G at a regular bar/club and possibly have a near by hotel suite or air b&b for those who wanna play?

not sure if your aware, but we are looking to open a full-time club in the north west and im currently running a club viability survey, PM us if you'd like to see the results

That's kinda what I was thinking. People moving between locations late and night with hotel staff watching would be problematic at best. Airbnb might work but you have nosy neighbours to think about. Tricky.

We are actually thinking about a big house with sheds and we would have a person there to put music on and there be either a bring your own bottle option or a pay in option and we would supply the drink the meet and greet would be down stairs or out in the sheds and the play area would be in the bedrooms x

Only the downstairs of a house would be a tiny m&g. Also most house hire companies and airbnb dont allow parties/guests so not easy to pull off. Best of luck tho.

I think the idea of sub letting Vanilla or RVC may be beatxasctheyvare set up & dontvrun every weekend...I'm sure a sharing option could be arranged re door & bar money.

I enquired once about having a birthday party at the vanilla club and i was told that i had to have at least 30 people and that they would charge the normal entry fee and would keep all profits from the nite i dont see why people just cant go out have a normal nite out at the meet and greet talk to people and hopefully get a few numbers to arrange to meet again for fun there can be a social side to fab as well it doesnt always gave to be about getting your leg over think people need to look up what the word swinging means and to all the organisers out there i think they do a wonderful job trying to put these nites together and should be reconized for the hard work that they put in just my thoughts lol

Why would you book somewhere that can hold a lot more than 30 for a birthday party of less than 30,?? There are easier options than that.

when we finalise our new venue it will be available for individuals or couples to hire. Google hedonismni and join our mailing list. Renting a purpose venue is a lot easier and all purpose venues have social areas. Stay in touch as we’re looking to reopen soon

I used to be a member of a group on a different site and every few months we would rent a house out for the weekend from Friday night to sun night or Mon morning.

Friday night was everyone getting to know each other and sorting out beds there was always a few camp beds needed.

Saturday was great as we all had breakfast dinner together and Saturday night was snacks and drinks and play.i was able to be fully Stacy and a few others dressed fully in pvc or rubber the whole weekend. We all brought food drinks and snacks and paid around £30 each.

i think the quality of any club or social will be reflected in the price. play parties range from the €40 per couple of vanilla to the €130 for killing kittens ... price is also about what u include and what ur clientele expect with the admission.

as alot of the fun happens at the afters parties, then possibly a venue with a nearby hotel suits..of course booking a function room in a very large hotel is also an option & those going to the M&G have the option to stay at the hotel, going to their rooms for fun whenever they want

Not that's easy. I've been at meet and greets in hotels and there have been staff and security stopping people from bringing guests to rooms.

We did this in November 2018 over a full weekend, the venue alone cost in excess of £1000.00 to hire for the weekend as most large houses are only available for a full weekend. There was also a sizable security deposit to be paid as well, which was refundable after 7 days provided that there was no damage.
