I've been out of the country a few days so only just heard this on the radio driving home from the airport.

The gist of the story was how there were now pressures from various political figure heads, press etc for this bishop to resign however unless I'm missing something should there not be pressures on the police to arrest this man? Is it not a crime in itself to withhold this information?

Nb. This isn't anti-catholic ranting, its anti paedo. I have equally strong opinions of most organised religions

They should be treated the same as everyone else arrested and search warrents on there homes, the catholic church and its rules just baffle me how they can stand back and not take action for so many years
