how can professional massage & prostitution massage be compared as either side of the same coin...a serious slur on the massage professional that provide an essential service for many with aches & pains

Sorry I should have been more clear. Im talking about Tantra body2body naked massage, not professional physio type massage!

Yes it is. But im looking at some of the ads in Dublin and they are mainly advertised on pages shared with escort services.

Unlike say in Germany where the distinction is far more clear.

Just to reiterate im not slurring dedicated Tantra masseuses but tryiing to make sure if i choose one in Dublin it is with an independent masseuse and on some ads it looks like a grey area.

PS apols for typos in opening post

South Side.

There are very few, about 4?, qualified and trained tantra practitioners in Dublin. If you want a memorable experience, where you'll feel fantastic afterwards, seek them out. In Germany, there have been recent changes in the law, whereby Tantra practitioners no longer have to be registered as prostitutes in order to work. So, a Tantra practitioner has already been approved by the state as a trained and qualified professional. Remember tantra is not just about sex,... Research it for yourself. In Ireland many women offer "tantra", but it's just a name given to a happy ending massage, and more often the receiver isn't at all happy, as its quick, expensive, uncaring, in a grubby room on a stained mattress. Grim! So, I hope you find a mind blowing experience. Good luck with your search.

Exactly! Thats my point. Yes I know all about it. And in Germany it was fantastic.

But youre right, here its not so clear. And that was opening question, is there much difference between "tantra" practitioners advertising in Ireland and escorts? I dont think there is and I dont want to book somebody who is essentially owned by a pimp!

South Side.

Ask them about their training with whom, and for how long. A weekend, or online course is not enough. And check out their teachers, or the school they went to. There is a site called "trusted therapists", which gives worldwide listing of Tantra practitioners who have been trained and qualified. There is only one Irish person on it.
