Ok, I kinda take your point.

Personally I was unable to attend due to vanilla life.

However, it would be better if you detailed your specific grievances in a point by point fashion.

That helps folks who may be organising future events.

I should say, I kinda know two ladies attending and they were certainly in a good mood just before the social, so not everyone has the same view.

All the more reason for you to clarify your points

Leave usernames and profanity out and it is simply your own opinion of facts as you see them

Doing it point by point limits your expression of any anger if you keep each one to a 2 line maximum.

Also helps you clarify your grievances.

Just saying.

No offence folks but neither of your remarks are helpful.

Please let the poster reply with his exact, specific grievances.

Otherwise nobody learns anything.

Once he posts the detailed specifics, then people can reply, in a calm, constructive manner.

Without which, no lessons will be learned.

I think you should have specified what exactly went wrong, so next time organizer will improve. Simple!

I had organized some events in the past (mostly in Spain and Portugal) and I was grateful for the honest opinion.

If you do not feel comfortable with some people you can avoid them. Most of the events here or anywhere are over crowd and you can have lovely chat with whomever you will find is interesting.

Moaning on forums without saying a good reason is not okay

Clearly poster isn't interested in explaining anything, my analogy was showing exact same scenario but with a different product/service.

When you put an apple pie into this situation it does look kind of daft, doesn't it?

"Very badly run very badly organized,I certainly won't be going to another one im so glad I pulled out early"

I don't wish to sound rude but I don't see how anyone who didn't attend could possibly pass comment on how an event was run; be it poorly or well.

Coupled with the timing of such a comment, during/after the social itself, it seems more sour grapes than anything else

If you or anyone had any grievances or advice to give, based upon your experiences, then I can only imagine organisers of such events would be grateful, not just happy, to field and address them in a more private and appropriate manner.

It's often a thankless act of selflessness to organise these events and while it's tough to please everyone, nobody would go out of their way to make it uncomfortable or a bad experience for anyone who wishes to or does attend so the same courtesy should apply the other way around in my opinion. There's a time and a place

We're just home from the afore mentioned event and it was a great night. Very well run, a great mix of people, some we chatted to, some we didn't get to & some we would've liked to

The only complaint was the DJs choice of music but once it was pointed out to him he upped his game considerably & the dance floor was hopping, & no, it wasn't because I was on it, I wasn't, honestly....

Thanks ladies for all your efforts in organising and we would definitely go to one of your nights again & recomend them to anyone.

So sorry we didn't apply for tickets earlier as it was full. Sounds like a great night apart from the review from a single unverified guy who was given the unique chance to go and meet people, but decided to bail because of a kik group chat and thus taking away the opportunity of genuine people from attending and having fun.

Next time girls.. see you then

"Very badly run very badly organized,I certainly won't be going to another one im so glad I pulled out early

There's a time and a place "

You would be dead right that it's sour grapes. The KIK chat was way less awkward and more respectful after admin pointed out inappropriate behaviour from certain individuals, and his buddy, and they threw their toys out of the pram. Simples. The girls did a great job to be fair.

As my first social I have to say this was an absolutely brilliant night. I got to meet some fabulous people and definitely had a blast.

Thank you ladies for the invite and putting in so much work to make it enjoyable for all who attended. I’ll definitely be looking forward to attending the next one. If I can get off work

What a great night and very well organised. Amazing atmosphere, venue, music and people. There was even food! Non stop bants all night. It was one of the best events we've been to. Fair play to the two organisers - who are very welcoming and absolute legends. A lot of work and attention to detail gone into this event and it showed. Can't wait for the next one. Betty & Bob xxx

ignites minds to unite ...

After a series of unfortunate and unplanned events, that left me to go alone to this social, level of nerves and insecurity was elevated.

Wasn't alone for long , hosts and great mixed crowd made me feel comfy soon.

Great night of chats , making new friends, experiences gained, knowledge I was looking for.

A lot of people I didn't get a chance to talk and get to know, but impossible for me to do with a party that big.

First one, not the last one.

To all involved , thanks , didn't feel like a newbie leaving that place with a smile and hunger for more .

Was shite at taking fab names, so feel free to pm if we chatted.

TheRyders, both of you are fun to talk to,let me know how did that frozen vodka experiment go
