The website, Beautiful People, that this came from is controlled by the user base. If you're already a member, you vote with other members on new people who are trying to join. Irish men weren't voted ugliest, they were the nationality who were rejected from membership the most. Whereas Irish ladies were the ranked 8th most attractive based on acceptance rate

Yeah beautiful people is full of fake Irish women, that the men get voted on, so that they use the women accounts and their own to reject other men from joining, thus creating a pool less to compete with.

This kind of beahaviour is harder in countries with bigger populations.
