"Youre saying its okay to have other partners as long as it does not come at the expense of your children etc? I always wonder where married people find the time to cheat. I am single, nothing to do, and cant even find the time to go on a date. But some men are married with kids, and 2 or 3 women on the side." Yeah, feckin multitaskers piss me off too!!

Even me having a child who I give as much time as I can and to a gf... It's pretty impossible to have an affair (even though I am opened for it)... Swinging is super occasional for my own person... I know people do whatever they whish, but come on...

"No offence OP but you have not explained what you mean to say very well. Maybe try again, being more "wordy", so that people can understand the point you are making and can then respond appropriately " Read Devil's response, he got it right...

"So you're assuming that everyone having a lover/affair automatically neglects their family and partner to spend time with their lovers? And what has the whole thing to do with being alpha? " Don't know about the alpha bit but I guess that any time spent away from family/ partner is time that could have been spent with them. The counter argument is that if that time away makes you a happier person, then the remaining time spent with family/ partner is more "quality" time and hence more valuable to them.

Nobody spends 24-7 with their family and we all need some timeouts, some go to the gym, some hook regularly up with friends, some go hiking etc etc some might have a lover. Doesn't make you automatically an immature, selfish coward of a father or mother.

Another good point too. But I can't compare oil and water, they don't mix... Just me being too monochrome

Just me being too monochrome" So if we choose to seek happiness outside of being devoted to our kids/family then we're selfish or cowardly? Is that the gist or have I missed something?
