FabSwingers.com forum: What am I doing wrong?

Hi guys and girls.

So I've been a member of the site for over a year but I've only recently become what you would call "active".

I'm a respectful guy, I'm not pushy and try to treat others how I'd like to be treated.

I don't hassle other members and when it comes to sending messages I always put a little bit of effort in.

I also read profiles thoroughly to make sure that I'm not sending random messages to people who don't want them or asking something that is already stated in their biography.

However I'm having very little luck and it's beginning to get me down a little.

I'm questioning everything, and if someone does show a hint of interest I'm afraid I'm coming across as desperate and trying to rush things along.

I'm also putting it down to my looks which isn't a great thing to do, but I've always had hang ups about that and this place is making me revisit those thoughts.

As a single make it's hard enough to get someone's attention but when you're working with what I am it seems even harder.

I just want to have fun, meet some people and see where it goes.

I understand this post isn't a great look either but fuck it, I need help!

Dont ever get down about yourself or way you look or how you act and introduce yourself. Nobody should be made to question themselves. Keep doing all right things reading profiles and you'll eventually hit it off with someone

Don't get down about yourself here. There is someone for everyone and just like in life not everyone going to like you or fancy you. Get involved in forums, get to a social if you can. Look at successful male profiles for pic ideas. Take the comment of ur pic about your penis, it's yours accept it and love it

Stick with it and enjoy the experience.

On the looking at Male profiles point. Say for instance I see someone that I like look off and they have verifications I'll look at the verification they've been verified by to see the kind of people they've met in the hope I'll maybe see someone who I have something in common with.

This has led to me being messaged on more than one occasion by the persons I have looked at and asked why I'm snooping on a male profile when I list myself as straight Haha.

You can go incognito when looking at profiles..

Yep change your settings so that people can't see you've looked at them,I made that mistake early on and bi lads were accusing me as being gay(was just looking for tips) I don't care if guys look at my profile

Whatever you do,don't let the site get you down or think it's because of your looks,its just the way fab works,for everyone,you'll get a break soon enough,trust me

Thanks to Devinedestiny I'm now aware of "stealth mode"

I've no issues with men looking at me either, infact if it wasn't for our bi/gay members I'd have a a fraction of people viewing me Haha.
