Sorry Monaghan no 3 in a row for you . Would not have been so much added on time if they were not lying all over the pitch pretending to be injured ...wait till donegal gets you up there . Playing 13 behind the ball puke Ulster football. Well done dublin reserves roll on summer football and the 6 in a row

Monaghan started at a 100 mile an hour..for parts the dubs were playing catch up with them but true class shows out in the end..dubs didnt panic and never gave up fought for a draw thats how good they are..6 in a row looks very likely..best gaelic football squad of all time

Always blame the Dublin team ah sure like every player is getting paid €250000 for just looking at the pitch. Cry me a river the Dublin team worked hard for what they have achieved over the years get over it!!

That's what's wrong with support ers. Of Gaelic football .that should be admiring great teams not coming up with remarks and abuse because they cannot get their act together

Kerry got a late equaliser few weeks ago no one mentioned how many added on time was played .just get over it . And appreciate the amazing bunch of players ever to grace a pitch .they are not going to be around forever .so sit back and enjoy the ride .c'mon the dubs

Six minutes of extra time allocated, but 9 minutes and 17 seconds played. Sorry, but that is just wrong.

I'm not a Dublin fan, but with 6 minutes given and add the time delays and a sub the time given is understandable.

But I felt sorry for Monaghan.

"Six minutes of extra time allocated, but 9 minutes and 17 seconds played. Sorry, but that is just wrong. "

Thats just the modern game. They just cut the overtime short if its not a close game.

If its a close game, every and all oppurtunity is given to replace wasted time. Adding 6 minutes means 6 minutes of play, the refs have zero tolerance for time wasting in extra time these days.

I'm not saying there was any time wasting, I am saying 9 minutes in a close game, isnt unheard of.

Basically the closer the game the more frowned upon every second wasted is, as they want to stamp that out as a tactic to be used in games.

If youre close match these days, dont waste even a second, play play play.

Dunboyne & Dublin

Carding the players in extra time took about 90secs. Ref played until Sublin drew.

Let's be honest.

Monaghan were the better team for 90% of the match and Dublin only played the second half, mostly after Kevin McMenniman came on. He's not called Super Sub for nothing and proved it again.

Dublin tactics and timing drew the game.

Let's take the good from it.

It shows other teams how to play against Dublin and stops the whinging about Dublin being unbeatable.

Now it's up to the test to meet the challenge.

Monaghan won it though

I wouldn't say it was all about Dublin but if there was any close score in the game the ref is going to try to make a draw out of it to save him flak going off the pitch..

Fair play to dublin for getting back in the second half but i think it was unfair that referee played more than 6 minutes added time obviously a fg referee

Not looking forward to face monaghan in first round of championship

That's great coming from a meat supporter when they could only score 5 points in the whole 74 mins against Dublin .never any chance of extra time counting for much when meath are involved .its called sour grapes. How much extra time was played few weeks ago .when Kerry got the equaliser .and ref bringing the ball forward 22meters for a player just asking a question ..get over it ...sour grapes .and anyway Dublin will not be winning the league .. give the no hopes and losers a chance

Combination of terrible refereeing and Beggan mistakes cost them the win. Ref calling back play when McManus straight through on goal was an absolute disgrace. Beggan going for the long range score when they should have retained possession was glory hunting. And then he comes for a ball he shouldn't have and gifts Dublin a point.

"Monaghan blew it 9pts up with 15 to play, can't blame the ref sorry"

Yea they didnt know how to finish the game out..this business of pretending to be injured in order to waste time is what lost them the game..it would have been easier if they played keep ball for the remaining minutes not that

Game changed when Dublin brought on mcmannan mannion and a few new kids .

Imagine if mcauley McCaffrey cooper .o Sullivan o'callaghan and player of the year cluxton had arrived...

Also if Monaghan players didn't fall around faking injury .. roll on the summer and six .lol

If u look at all the flaws in all the games you'll see why it's a amature game ...correct me if I'm wrong but Jamie brennan was taken down by galway keeper he receives a black card and penalty give ...should the keeper not off gone to dugout (sinbin) and replacement sub taken on after ball has gone dead not take in a sub yet dublin joe (mcquillan) allowed a sub keeper on ... secondly galway player lifted the ball off the ground in small box yet both umpires were watching but didn't call it ..the maor issac for galway spent 47min on the field off play and had to be told to get back at least 10 times sideline officials were very week ... in controlling discipline on sideline... summing it all up the officials have so much to do now it's a game that is to technical for one reff ... when 6min added on and 3 subs come in in that additional time 20sec for each sub is added on to additional time it's time to go like the ladies countdown clock ...

you do know the game was stopped for a good bit in extra time, it's why it was stretched to the 9 minute mark as there wasnt 6 minutes of gameplay unless it was stretched out that long. Happened last week in another league game but you never heard people giving out because Dublin wasn't playing that game. Salty culchies

A big fan or ‘the dubs’ . Outstanding team . Let me confirm one thing . When the board goes up it is called out loud and clear there will be AT LEAST whatever mins of additional time . Ref is in charge and decides what time is warranted . I agree he has too many other things to be watching which doesn’t help . He was absolutely correct to add on what he seen fit , the exact same as Dublin had done two weeks before v Kerry . People need to stop thinking it’s all about the dubs , it’s not . Time for other counties to get their arse in gear, up to the other counties to step up .

And to add to that when the board is raised reading additional time there also could be 1min off that time already gone both reff and a umpire at each end wear stop watches as dos one umpire keep scores as well as scoreboard there all wired up to one another and fourth official .so it's team work right through the game all connected to one another not alone the man/woman in the centre ease up on the reff there ..monaghan should never off let them back into it in this game ...
