So who is looking forward to the six nations? How do people think each of the nations will get on?

Hopefully Ireland will get off to a good start. Start the building process for next world cup

I think we could be really good this year, my expectations are high

Let’s be honest, we were poor last year compared to what we have come to expect recently

Players picked on form this year, with a few new faces, could spark a bit of life into the team

Ireland are in a very difficult position. They have been outstanding for quite a few years and were, more or less, unbeatable, unplayable and untouchable. When you slip from that level it is very very difficult to get back there, especially with new management and coaching staff.

In my opinion their biggest test will be their first match against the powerhouse that is Wales. The Welsh squad have risen uo the ranks very slowly over the past number of years but now they ar as good, if not better than any other team.

All in all it will be an interesting tournament filled full of excitement and expectation

It will be interesting to see how England perform; yes they beat the All Blacks but other than that they were never pushed (except in the final).

I'll be at the match in Dublin on the 8th for my favourite away tie.

Wales definitely built steadily and I do think they could win the tournament but will be pushed hard by England.

I'm looking at this year as a settling in year for Andy Farrell so a good steady performance is what I would like to see

Will be in Dublin on 7/8/9 Feb. Wary of an Irish backlash after a lacklustre RWC. Will he pick Cooney or stick with Murray? Has Eddie messed up by not picking a number 8? WIll Pivac's Wales be 2.0 compared to last year? Are France as dangerous as we all think?? Best 7 weeks of the year!!

First time watching them in Cardiff so hoping a win against France.

Much like a few years Wales have the ability to win it. Often expectational hype from media and over zealous fans can blur the reality, throw into that a multitude of variables on a given day and favourites can come out heads hanging.

Take each match as it comes.

I dont think we will bet England but as always with France it depends on what team turns up. I think 3rd behind England and Wales is a realistic result. We could manage 2rd if we get lucky

Wales apparently have a few injuries according to some sources, whether there's much in it or more about pre-match posturing against someone they fear, but that always played well into the Welsh thinking.

I'm putting my predictions down early and yes I'm a bit bias but who isn't.

England a one trick pony, no reason to think they changed. Just power power power, just need to hit the gym and they have no plan b.

But can Ireland find some people with some grit in their eyes? Have they stacked the team with tactical prima donnas who crumble under mental pressure? Who can they pick that will smash from start to stop? I dont think they will find them in time, I think they have groomed the youth to be tactical over savage and hungry for so long that it would take years to bring them players through.

But everyone ignore me, I only picked south africa to win the world cup and pretty much called every game during the world cup.

Fortune for Wales to play Italy at opening match with so many on the bench not quite match fit.

Good performance overall and a very good win. Italy moved the ball about at times very well so they are improving nicely
