West Wales

Guy that bought our house in Essex paid for it out of the £800k in his current account!!

His private pension was 10k a month & he was buying/renovating/selling houses because he was bored!.....74yrs old too.

Would have thought that was a normal enough bank balance if you have a decent job

A town near you

I added up one week how much I spent on random shite during the week at work, cups of coffee, the odd sandwich, bars of chocolate and bottles of club orange.

Was the guts of 40 euro.

Few of you could be setting yourself up for a robbery at your next group social. No disrespect, but I would not tell a public forum how much money I have in the bank.

Normally about 1K in ours, I think anything over and above what you are likely to need to spend between pay days would be better served in some sort of account which will generate you some interest and doesn't run the risk of being stolen!

For a brief moment we had £390k in ours last year then poof most of it was gone in the same day on our next home & a suitable car.

I know it’s not normal but we sold to someone we knew for cash, cleared our mortgage & bought for cash too.

"2 current accounts; £33k total"

I think you need a word with a financial advisor on how best to make your money work for you. That amount of money is ridiculous to have just sitting there on its ass doing nothing

I keep mine under the bed in the wardrobe in the attic in the shed in presses sure if a stach is found iv plenty more stashes to survive. Leave nothing in your account and hackers cant rob it
