Yea just heard it there now. Never knew about that at all. I’ll be watching the gardens from now on to see will it disappear or stay

There could be an increase in pampas grass sales

"There could be an increase in pampas grass sales "

Sales have dropped off in the U.K. Due to the connection to it.

That's an old one, the reason so many UK houses dating from the seventies have pampas grass in the front garden

Maybe the concept is sound but for 2020 something more stylish and in keeping than pampas grass could be chosen. Any suggestions?

Ah here... That's ancient and rather outdated.

Years ago a woman was takking to gerry ryan I think.

She lived on the second floor of a large apartment block in Dublin and had a steel balcony with a big potted pampas grass growing in it.

She couldn't understand why she kept getting notes with phone numbers on them ( before smart phones and the internet kids)

So one day she rang the number and was told she had left a sign on her balcony to show she was into swinging

Yes, we have heard before that pampas grass has been a swinger indication for years. Theres also something about Pineapples when you go to a party indicates your intentions to play or not. We have exchanged pineapple gifts with Fab friends as a mess but we'd be open to the correct interpretation if anyone knows.

One thing that shook us was the wheelie bin theory though, never heard that..lol

Yeah the wheelie bin theory definitely trumped the pampas grass.
