Worked as a volunteer when they played at Slane. Finished duties in time for GnR and just as they started a fellow volunteer gave me a spliff. Just the job I thought, chill out for a bit in this field of 80,000.

I don't know what the THC content was but I was absolutely fucking out of it! Tripping to Welcome to the Jungle is not an experience I'm keen to repeat!

Feck sake!

They played well though....in all dimensions!!!!

I thought they were great at Slane, despite the weather. Marlay Park is much more manageable, into the bargain. 10/10 will go.

I'm definitely going. Can't wait! Die hard Guns N Roses fan here.

Also, waiting for European dates for Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Poison, Joan Jett Stadium Tour.

Not me. Welcome to the Jungle has one of the greatest openings ever for a rock song. Sweet child and paradise top too, but beyond that they never blew me away. Illusion 1 and 2 are dreary and were a let down.

Sound tends to be not so great in Marlay Park from previous gigs i've been too.Hope they don't have that issue,if the weather is bad it seems to contribute to the problem.
