Try the Farmgate in the English market..bit cramped but the food is local and really delicious. Jacobs in the Mall for an evening meal ...really lovely place. Lennox chipper Barack Street too...I'm offering a full foodie tour should it be required

Ali’s Kitchen on Paul St. or Joes & Bros on Gillabbey St. both excellent for brunch.

Farmgate, Quay Co-Op or Market Lane for Lunch.

Soma on Tuckey St., Pink Moon on Washington St. or Cork Coffee Roasters for coffee and cakes.

Haven’t had dinner out in years

Just an FYI for the Market Lane it is great but you cant book a table so if you are planning to go this time of year factor in about an hours wait. They will take your number so you can grab a drink in one of the near by bars which are quite nice

Somewhere in Co. Down

Scoozies in winthroph Lane is great. Or it use to be I often went there for meals out when I lived in Cork.

Kc's chipper in Douglas is great as well. Tiny and quirky but the food is the best.

Oh yeah I forgot there. Lovely pizza and reasonably priced. Good for a cheap brekkie too. Feels a bit studenty. I prefer Il padrino for pizza tho.
