Is there a pub or venue that swingers simply like to hang out? Not a pre-arranged social but just a place that like minded people might gravitate towards?

Whatever the Front Lounge is now called, on Parliament street, city centre.

Not sure if its still the same but there used to be different sections of it kinda predeignated for different strokes.

Others will have a better idea.

Obviously there's Vanilla Club, when it's on, also.

I think what the OP is trying to ask is if there is any certain pubs bars where like minded ppl would frequent be it big cities

like Waterford Cavan Tipperary all the way down to the less popular paces such as Cork Galway or Dublin. I have thought about it myself but I guess ppl just go to their own local watering hole. It would be interesting though if there were certain places ppl could go to meet like minded people without planning. Venues can change on a regular basis you keep the rif raf at bay. And the forum you inform ppl of possible plans in a certain venue.

Maybe I'm taking got here. Sorry for stealing your post OP

Like a private room in a bar? I cant see that working. How would you control entry? If it were empty then the bar owner would be losing floor area of the bar. I just dint think there are enough people in the lifestyle to have an exclusive area, and managing it would be a headache.

Would be great to have a special spot.But if there was one, and it was named in the forums, The Sunday World would soon do a big story. Nothing else newsworthy happening in the world.

I'm sure there are several pubs that could be used as required, but would need to alternated in my opinion,and named on the day.

Swinging is a private affair. You don't air your dirty laundry and you don't tell people your business.

So the idea of some bar where swingers like to hang out is poppycock.

I think they are monthly and are invite only (at least at first). Not the same thing as OP is suggesting. There is nowhere you can just drop in and expect to find a load of swingers.

If it's not exclusively for swingers then how would you know who was a swinger and who wasnt. The scene is so small that any public bar woiluod have way more vanilla punters than swingers.

There's multiple munches a month - two main all-kinks Dublin ones and several more niche ones like spankos, BBW/BHM, Bi Ladies, Pups & Handlers that also occur monthly. None of the munches are invite only, but you do have to attend a meet & greet directly before your first munch to be told the rules and so the moderators can identify any non-genuine or dangerous people. In my years of moderating munches that's never actually happened - so they are extremely open.

That's not the same thing the OP is asking about though, and there aren't any 'kinkster bars' in Dublin either - if you were arranging to meet kinky friends you might choose a kink-friendly bar (ie, one of the munch / fetish club venues) but it's unlikely you'd just wander in and there'd be a load of kinksters there by chance.

I take your point.. but a fabber cant just go to a pre-munch meet and greet even. They need to contact the organisers and be explicitly invited there to meet a greeter who will tell you the rules and who may or may not permit you access to the main venue. Pretty far removed from what the OP is looking for. Even the (much larger) kink scene isn't big enough to sustain a full time drop-in venue.
