.....

I was all psyched up yesterday. Got all the outside lights down from the loft and laid out and ready to go. Four minutes and two nervous breakdowns later I fired them all back in the box and under a bench in the garage. I'm hoping I'll get away with a blow up Xmas tree instead

The sticks

Small 3ft Christmas tree that sits on a window sill and then gets put away in January with the decorations still on it.....fierce handy

"Go overboard.. Even as far as decorating the dog "

sounds like an animal welfare case.

There will be a smallish tree appearing soon, just for the craic

Redditch

I've had years when I've done nothing, but this year I've gone overboard.

In addition to the 800 or so LED lights in the front, plus the tree and other nik-naks all around the place, I've just put a chain of 1000 lights out in the back garden. Despite, the fact that my house backs onto woods and so only I, my immediate neighbours and the occasional passing dog walker will see them....

My trees are my pride and joy. Put the first one up on Saturday and it's coming down again today thanks to three very naughty kittens. So it'll be minimal for us this year. I'm gutted

Dublin

I usually would but it took me til February to take it down last year so not gonna bother! I'll spend Christmas at my parents' house anyway so I won't miss out.

Porch decoration half done and wreath for doors.

Just made and hanged fireplace wreath. This weekend tree and rest of stuff up.

I love something different so I make most decorations myself so takes time

But if someone could later January come take them all off
