Dublin

Has anyone got any advice on the best Dublin City Centre Hotels for swinging?

It’s for Saturday night and we would like somewhere that’s well set up with the location of the reception area, bar and lifts etc. Would really like to avoid any awkwardness

Tallaght/Naas

The glashaus Tallaght is great

Have met couples in there no hassle getting in as you don’t have to go through reception to go the bedrooms

Great parking

And LUAS stops out side

Dublin west

Croke park hotel.

Lifts are hidden from the reception desk.

Gibson by the point has huge showers and again you can access the rooms from a hidden lift area

D4 hotel has lifts around the corner from the reception desk so again not an issue.

But generally just walk about like you supposed to be there and you won't have a problem.

Get an extra card at check-in which you can give to the other person or couple .

Most of the staff just don't care really.

Been meeting in Dublin hotels for years and never any problems.. Except for that one time the fire-alarm went off.. That was special. (you know who you are.. lol did your hubby ever cop on?)

you will be kucky get a Dublin CC hotel for this weekend, its christmas party time ... in reality hotels dont care what you do but most now require a riom card to access the lift...try for an Air B&B or serviced apartment like Staycity... most are near to pubs & more likely to find one than a hotel for this weekend

It depends on time you are entering hotel. Before 11pm you are ok in most hotels. After that time they are now checking that you have a hotel room key and that you are not bringing in more people than occupancy is paid for.

I've heard that place can get a little hairy at times.

No you don't. At least not the one at Newlands Cross, I've gone there plenty of times without incident

charleville

Not CC but a few years back a large group of us used to use Citywest as a venue for get togethers. Would have been obvious enough and got some raised eyebrows from locals but nothing ever said by staff etc. They have a statue of a threesome outside the entrance.
